Past trip
in Flying Z Farm, WashingtonDan N.has mixed feelings towards this listing.
We loved the site we had, the rocks site. It was very private and within easy walking distance to the Yakima River. And lots of wildlife - marmots, red tailed hawk, bullfrogs. You could hear the highway in the distance so would caution visitors about that but wasnât too bad.
Bill was very helpful and accommodating.
We would not recommend the pond or orchard sites if you are looking for some quiet and Privacy. They are pretty much in the middle of the property and it seemed like a lot of traffic and people around - at least on Memorial Day Weekend.

Wonderfully isolated with an amazing view. Just what we were looking for. Fun to be so close to Mount Vernon but feel so far away.

Being a very rainy weekend in the middle of winter the place was all that we wanted it to be and had it all to ourselves. I am sure there are pretty views if it was sunny :-). The portapotty was clean and the place was easy to find.

A pretty spot not far from I-5 if you are needing a place for the night during your travels. Pretty surroundings in the trees and very private down away from the house. The outhouse was clean. The host directions and accommodations were great. We were here on a quick stop-over in the middle of winter so didn't explore too much.

We had a great one-night stay at Ben's place. It was fun to see the garlic fields and the rest of the property. Our parking space was quiet and private. We were also able to buy some fresh organic garlic from Ben at the local farmers market.

Cynthia and partner Kerry have an amazing plot of land right next to the Gallatin River. We spent two nights at their place. The grounds were immaculate with a wonderful grassy field, old weatherbeaten buildings, and at the river's edge made for a magical stay. We were able to explore the rest of the property thru trails maintained by them. We would highly recommend a stay here to anyone visiting the Bozeman area.

We had a wonderful one night stay at Sonia's place. She was very helpful checking in with us as we traveled and was very accommodating as we had to arrive late. It is clear that Sonia really loves her property and the animals that live there. She went out of her way to have us interact with all the animals at her ranch. We did not have kids with us but it would be a great place to stay with kids.
Dan hasn't gone on any trips yet.

in Ferny Friendly near-Ferry, WashingtonPerfect bike camping spot
A wonderful place. It was our first bike camping trip and was an easy ride from the Kingston Ferry as advertised. Very quiet and secluded spot. The amenities were perfect for us by having a bathroom and electricity to use. Hilary was very communicative and helpful. The community of Indianola and the beach were fun to explore. Highly recommend!
