Private Beach Farm
in Private Beach Farm, CaliforniaMost beautiful place in the world
This was my second time to this magical property. My gf and I brought a little sun shelter to pop up on the beach and hardly saw another human on it the 3 days we were there. Itâs stunning and the light breeze makes it feel like paradise. For those folks confused about the tarâŚitâs all mother-nature, peeps. The surf is hard here and the tar is plentiful, so bring your old shoes if you want to keep your feet pristine, or just let your feet get black and spend a few more moments scrubbing your feet in the beautiful private-yet-outdoor-shower that looks out over blooming succulents, wild horses (okay, just regular horses, butâŚtheyâre in a big lot, running around), and the ocean beyond.
The greenhouse is a wonderful place to draw, read, cook, loungeâŚand again, gaze out at the sea.
If I could win the lottery, Iâd offer the owners whatever they wanted, but for nowâŚbuying a couple of days in the most beautiful spot in California, will have to do.
If I have any complaints, itâs that the resident kitty, Milo, only came for a quick and transactional head rub and had other things to do. Please let him know that he can step up the love, a little. No tip for Milo.

in Little Scraggy Camp, ColoradoI really enjoyed my 3 nights in pony roundup. The sites are within view of each other, but have enough trees to provide some privacy. The potty was clean and well stocked and not having to haul water was nice. I had to work for part of my stay and while the skies were clear, my hotspot worked great. Itâs a great place and so close to Denver!
Site 1 - Alamosa River Campsites & Cabins!
in AIYM Camp Riverfront Duplex Cabin!, ColoradoPerfect spot, views, hosts!
AIYM is just a truly beautiful place with the best hosts! The campsite is on a really lovely piece of land, up the road a bit from the larger (and really nice) AIYM camp. The hosts have water and a black water drain and even a stocked trout pond right over the hill from the campsite.
Listening to the river run while I slept was the best cure for a hectic week. I canât wait to come back!
Mountain View escape
in Melissa K.âs Land, ColoradoSite 3-Sunset Site, 20/30/50 Amp
in ESCAPE to the L.C. Ranch , Gila NM, New MexicoQuiet, but made for the party!
I was looking for a quiet place to try to outrun my job and hang out in my teardrop for a few days and LC Ranch was just the spot! The owner, Alex, is friendly and accommodating and his family property is interesting and fun. Definitely get him to give you the tour so you can see inside the 200+ year old home and make sure to hang out a bit in the propertyâs saloon. Itâd be a really great place for a group of campersâquiet surroundings with a great venue for a get-together and wifi with power to charge up the gadgets, and a huge sky of stars at night.
The restrooms are at the back of the saloon and the shower and w/d are in another area of the property, but hey...youâre camping, right? I really enjoyed my stay.
