Past trip
in Yost Ridge in the Finger Lakes, New YorkReally nice flat and solid site for an RV to pull into. Water and electricity provided. The scene from the site down into a valley and field was great! Fire pit, chairs and wood provided (wood, for a donation) (although due to weather we were unable to use). Nice, clean picnic table. Cows and horses frolicking across the street! There are dogs next door, but for the most part they were pretty quiet, even with my dogs there. It is close to a road, but only a couple of vehicles passed by during our stay. There are also a couple of visiting rabbits grazing in the lot. Will be back during any MA to West trips along the 80-90 corridor (only about 20 mins to get back the tollway). Thanks, Dawn!

Past trip
in BubbaSchottMiles Farm West Pasture, OhioBryan was super responsive and set me up in a drier spot when we got there. We got into a muddy place at a prior non-related site and had to be winched out. We were just passing through for the night so did not see the pasture campsites, but the property was great! So will be back. Site was just off the road but really quiet. Thanks Bryan!
Past trip
in Grape City, New YorkCarly's site was really amazing! Nestled among the grape vines and a clear view to lake Erie. Great fire pit (we were not able to use due to weather and a NY fire ban) and also a nice setup to hang a hammock. We will return to this site again. Great stop if you are on your way west on 80 or 90 from the East Coast. Pretty quiet stay also. Just trains traveling off in the distance but not loud at all.
Carly and Alex were very attentive prior to our trip and answered any questions very promptly. Also applied gravel to the driveway so we could travel down in our campervan as it was a bit muddy from all of the rain.
Thanks!
Past trip
in Vernal Heights, ConnecticutAs always, a great stay. Secluded spot and very quiet. Hiked in People's/Amer Legion state park-highly recommend it! Campbell Falls-very nice. You will need a fairly high clearance vehicle to get into sites 5 or 6. We did in a Highlander with a small camper in tow.
Addison is a great host. Easy going and supplied firewood for the pit.
Also, go to the Colebrook Store in the center of town. Make their own soups, sandwiches, salads, baked goods and gluten-free if you have celiac or intolerance.
Past trip
in Vernal Heights, Connecticut4th stay, this time at site 6. Very nice and secluded. Set up teardrop and 2 tents and still plenty of room. Did the Campbell Falls State Park hike. Dogs loved the water!
Past trip
in Vernal Heights, ConnecticutPeaceful stay, great hiking
Very nice 3rd stay at Humes Hill, site 5. Toyota Highlander with TC Teardrop navigated in nicely. Very peaceful there, even second night with folks staying at the adjacent (but well out of sight) site #6. Hiked People's State Forest-extremely nice this time of year, lots to see. Followed by a trip to Norbrook Brewery for a beer and the foodtruck. Strongly recommend visiting there-lots of outdoor seating, disc golf, cornhole, horseshoes, mtn biking trails, really nice vista.
Past trip
in Blueberry Orchard By The Pond, MassachusettsTeardrop camping with the pups
Great site! Blueberry farm on two sides and nice large, mowed grass area. Shade if you want it, but also very sunny places to set up. Next to a road, but very little traffic. Short drives to Glendale Falls and the Keystone Arch Bridges Trail. The honey is good! Also let John know if you want to pick blueberries, and leave a donation if you do. Really nice blueberries!
Past trip
in Vernal Heights, ConnecticutExcellent second stay, this time at site 5. Middle of the peaceful woods. No problem accessing with Highlander and teardrop in tow. A really nice firepit was set up ready to light! Go to the Norbrook Farm brewery. Outstanding and 8 min away!
Christopher hasn't gone on any trips yet.

Site 1 - Humes Hill Farm
in Vernal Heights, ConnecticutSite 3 stay
Very nice site, fairly close to the house, but still private and quiet, esp at the back part of the site where we parked the teardrop. Listened to owls and coyotes at night. One thing to be aware of is that there are some ticks-so check yourself and your pets. Addison was very accommodating-I had cancelled and then decided to go after all-all good. Also he was very responsive and nice to interact with. I hiked to the other sites as well. Sites 1 and 2 are a bit of a hike in by foot, but were nice, rustic sites. One has a tent platform. Sites 4 and 5 are in a pine forest and have large clearings for tents/small campers. There would be no issue driving to the sites as long as you don't have a low rider, lol. Couple of rocks, but you can easily get around them. Also drove to Campbell Falls trail. Not too long of a hike and really beautiful waterfall and river. Will definitely go to this place again, likely to site 4 or 5 (I think I saw a site 6 as well?). Thanks Addison!
