This is the kind of place you consider not reviewing because it's that great and don't want to let the secret out but that is not the in the spirit of Hipcamp. First, I screwed up the reservation not noting the trailer but Brian was very understanding and was extremely accommodating getting us a site. Although it was just 40 min from our home it felt like we were in the foothills of Virginia with rolling open hills and wide open vistas. Really beautiful from the second we pulled into the property. The property is very diverse and expansive. From open fields to wooded forests with rivers and creeks meandering through them. Being we have a Jeep and off-road trailer, Brian suggested a camp spot tucked in the woods next to a creek. It was a tight maneuver down to the site but worth it very much. The site is called "Campers Choice #2" and it is super remote, quite, and beautiful with an outhouse a short hike up a hill. There is also a trail that goes along the scenic creek that was a great walk for us a dog. The roads/trails are clearly maintained but are rough in some areas. Getting out of our site was tricky and I had to use 4WD to get up the trail and out. We had no problem but I would think twice with 2WD and a trailer to Campers Choice #2. We didn't get the opportunity to see the other sites but we look very forward to returning for sure to this wonderful special place.

This is an amazing hipcamp. The host Michael is wonderful and has created a really nice place to camp. Clean level spots, water and fire pits, clean nice restroom with an outdoor dish washing station all in a beautiful forest in the middle of nowhere. We enjoyed his trails and stories of how the place came about. Super guy with a super place.

First, Tony is an exceptional host. The place could not be maintained any nicer and he made sure we had everything we needed. It is a beautiful area and his property is very peaceful and quiet. Highly recommend making a visit to the Farm Under the Sun (and Stars).
