Site 4 - Rollinsville Adventure Camp
in Rollinsville Adventure Camp, ColoradoGreat hipcamp spot. Super easy to get in and out. Liked having the fire pit and BBQ. Spot 4 was the most level. Host was easy to communicate with. No cell service. Wifi provided by host was pretty good. Portable toilets could use better service and perhaps running water closer, but certainly better than most!!
#16 Chickadee
in Rustic Creek Ranch, ColoradoAwesome hipcamp property
Outstanding time here. We could only make 1 of our 2 nights but glad we did. Wide open nearly flat spot for van and tent camping. Neighbors were nice and far away.
Well kept land. Fire pit, table, wooden spool and chairs were all in great condition. Outhouse was also well kept. Would have liked hand washing station near them though
Directions were perfect once we got off highway 285. Took a few turn arounds to find the road... Nav to the hosts propane or tavern land mark and you will be set.

This was a great place. The hosts are super friendly. The location has amazing sunrise and sunset views. Red feather lakes (30 min away) was great too. The sites are spread out nicely. They are exposed (it is a prairie) so bring shade. The well water was outstanding, really glad they provided access to it! There is a toilet, it's a bit primitive (a bigger tent around it would be a plus) Yet completely usable Access to the hot shower was a huge plus,.
