The views were beautiful and the hosts were kind and welcoming! The cows were the friendliest we have ever camped by. It was quiet with an amazing view of the sunset and great stargazing.
Freedom Hills Campground
in Freedom Hills Campground, TennesseeI'm a solo female traveler who was car camping in a Honda Fit on Chad's land. He and his family are friendly and eager to share their property with travelers. I have some trauma related anxieties that can make travel challenging. I can't speak for when the property is more crowded, but I felt safe and comfortable during my stay. The hikes and scenery were lovely. I'll try to come back when I'm in better shape to try some climbs. I did arrive right after sunset and had some trouble navigating the first night, it was much easier to find a spot in daylight.
