Secluded Urban Farm
in Detroit Farm And Cider, MichiganWhere to find your best rest
Noah and the farm canine ambassador, Henry, were amazing hosts to share their spot with us during vacation. My partner and I did not know what to expect with a lot in Detroit but after two nights under his gigantic maples that rocked in the wind, we left with such a fullness that had us commenting that we were lucky and hope to be able to have such a peaceful experience the next time we travel to Michigan. Seriously, the best sleep I have had in my old tent in years. Soft ground and cool nights. Did I mention the breeze?
Pinnacle Farms tent campsite
in Pinnacle Farms South, ArizonaFirst time on hip camp
Exactly what we needed. Typically, I stay with family when visiting Mesa and Phoenix and this was my first booking thru hip because I really really wanted to be outside and away from air con blasting in my face in my sisterâs guest room.
What this listing does not mention and should...., the wind blowing thru your screened tent (PHX is not as hot as you think at night), the feel of making coffee outside in the morning on their camp stove, the sound of the horse next door, the chickens, the eggs from the chickens you bring as gifts to your sisters, or the most colorful veggies from the farm stand. Janna and her family made me the coolest aunt ever over Easter weekend without knowing it. I will book again. Please, consider staying and taking a moment to walk around. Very special place. They have set the bar high.
