Gordan was a great host and a wealth of information on local activities! We will be back to this little gem!
Beautiful property, friendly hosts, excited to go back and check out the pavilion and pool when the weather warms up!
This couple were the very best hosts you could ever dream of! They were personable and engaging. We felt so very safe and enjoyed our stay so much we will be recommending to all our camper friends!!!!

Great property with four different experiences. Primitive, tee-pee, cabins, rv.
The community area is terrific and this place would be great for large group/family get togethers.
The hosts are friendly and terrific. It's quiet, with good star gazing weather permitting.
We stayed at The Hippie RV Spaces in a small motorhome.
On the minus side: RV spots were narrow and nothing to write home about. Also, if you had a dog, the owners’ dogs were quite barky. There is a canine rescue located a short distance away. Dogs bark from morning to night. The showers were nasty.
On the plus side: The hosts were wonderful and responsive. The area was well off the beaten path. I would like to see it once COVID has gone its way and social gatherings happen a bit in the pavilion. It’ll be neat to see the General Store/Office when it is finished. The cabins were full and overlooked a beautiful green area.
We enjoyed ourselves so much here. The bathrooms were super nice and clean and the hosts were delightful! Special tips on the best places to go really enhanced our sightseeing.
My buddy and I really enjoyed our stay at Al's hideaway campground for two and a half days. The weather was perfect while we rode motorcycles out in the Texas Hill Country the location was just close enough to everything that we wanted to see. The campground had everything that we needed for us to stay comfortable in our 20 ft cargo trailer. The bathrooms and showers were clean the swimming pool looked inviting however we did not go swimming and the pavilion area is just a great place to hold the picnic or cookout. The whole campground facility was very clean and very quiet we definitely plan to come back later on this year. Gordon and Jennifer were excellent host.
