Enjoy a tranquil weekend at Winimusett Farm, a 28 acre retreat on a flower farm with 4 ponds, many streams and rolling fields. The cabin includes a queen mattress, wood stove, outdoor fire pit, deck and a private outhouse. Hike up to the cabin, it’s a 5 minute walk from where you park. In addition to our cozy cabin we also offer a stay in the bunk house attached to the barn. We currently have a one-room, wood stove warmed, cozy sleeping loft for one or two - with two benches below on either side of room - for two sleeping bags; plus, a separate 22 foot Sioux tipi with two cots. There are two chairs in the tipi, which if removed at night, make floor room for four other sleeping bags. 'Forest Bathing' for miles! If you're a larger group booking Salamander Hollow main camp with its Sleeping Library, Tipi & Slovenian Beehive House, you might consider renting this additional Tiny Cabin want to entertain all in glamping style, utilizing its amenities; as well, providing another bathroom/shower and guest bedroom for those who prefer being indoors while in the great outdoors. Note that Kula Bata Tiny Cabin abuts the wheelchair accessible larger bathroom/shower which is available to those at the Salamander Hollow main camp, yet you are secluded with your own private entry points and private bathroom. A ten minute drive takes you to the parking area to hike up Tully Mountain. There is a grill, wood fired pizza oven, two fire pits and a hygienic Incinolet electric toilet on the property for night convenience, with small camp sinks for washing & teeth brushing. Take a short hike off the property to organic Chase Hill Farm for milk, eggs, seasonal veggies, grass fed meat and other goodies. Say hello to their cows, chickens, pigs, goats, pups and kids. Nestled across the road from Salamander Hollow is Timber Haven Farm, where you can schedule your pickup of bacon and eggs, while loading up on delicious Owl Energy Bars for your adventurous excursions. For those interested in the glamping side of camping, you will enjoy a remote rustic experience with a few creature comforts to keep you well read, clean and fed. Please bring your own bedding - pillows, sleeping bags, comforter, teddy bears.There is a wall mounted blue tooth car radio/CD player in Sleeping Library, so bring your pre-digital favorites. We had a wonderful time staying at Georgie’s cottage. It was quiet and had all the amenities of home. The location was perfect. We used this as a base to see Boston and Salem MA. We went Salem it took and it about 1 1/2 hrs and to get to Boston during the week about 30 min and on the weekend about an hour. The cottage was clean and there towel, shampoo, charcoal for the grill, cable TV, internet and private outdoor area. We highly recommend this little Gem. I will definitely be back.

This cozy cabin is the absolute perfect nature retreat. Me and my wife stayed during some rain and listening to it fall through the leaves with the wood fire crackling away was soul nourishing. Getting to the location was very easy, although it did require a bit of steep hiking to get there. My only complaint was that I only booked one night! Our dogs loved it too. The loft is a bit tight but cozy and comfortable. We loved our time here and we're looking forward to our next visit!

This is a quiet and serene spot. In no way does it resemble a modern corporate hotel. Rooms are in an old Victorian and while the age of the building shows in some ways, the friendliness of the hosts made my stay here a good one. Will stay again.

The Wapack trail cabin is great! A sweet rustic cabin stocked with many creature comforts such as: books & board games, screened windows, electricity, water cooler, camp stove for outside use, fire pit with 2 chairs, electric tea kettle, French press, table & chairs, comfy couch and king bed (also a twin mattress in loft but we didn’t use that). my group of 4 mid-age ladies were beyond content. Jon is so nice, welcoming, and generous. He gave us a dozen fresh eggs. There are lots of great walking options right from the cabin including trails and an old road. We hope to visit the Wapack Trail cabin again

I always enjoy staying at the Kula Bata Tiny Kabin for my personal writing retreats. This was my third time there. The cabin has everything I need, but more importantly, acres of quiet, wooded trails. Great for peace and contemplation. There are also plenty of good restaurants/supermarkets/movie theaters etc. within about 20 minutes if you need some diversity of settings!

There was also some trails out behind the cabin that followed a small stream and we had a great time walking them with our dog. My pup and I had an amazing time and would definitely be back in the future. Mary was incredibly responsive and accommodating from start to finish. The day before arrival, she sent a very detailed guide with recommendations for things to do nearby and answered every question I had within minutes throughout the trip. The cabin was clean, cozy, and stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay — stove, grill, kitchen essentials, bathroom/shower, washer/dryer, and an awesome infrared sauna. She also left complimentary honey along with treats for my puppy, which was a thoughtful touch. I ended up purchasing honey from her as well since the complementary honey was really good. She provided me recommendations based on my what I'll be using the honey for and she made the purchasing process very easy. One thing I really appreciated was the privacy. Everything was seamless and well organized, and despite how available and helpful she was, we never even had to meet face to face. Even though it rained for most of our stay, we still had a fantastic time. The nearby hiking trails and farm within walking distance made the trip memorable, and my pup absolutely loved exploring the property. Overall, a relaxing and memorable stay with a host who clearly cares about her guests’ experience.

We spent a rainy weekend with our dog and a 3mo baby, and Jon was super helpful: he brought us water, firewood, and even cook ware (I missed to bring mine). The bed is very comfortable, the fire stove is easy to start and it seems quite efficient! Cozy, safe and private. We’ll be back for the foliage season

I’m so glad we chose this cabin for our trip. The weather was awful, but we didn’t care because we had such a cozy little space that still had beautiful views of the woods around us. The land is gorgeous and there are a lots of fun breweries to check out within 20 minutes and closer. The bed and the linens provided were so comfortable and we slept great. The wood burning stove kept us warm and dry and the propane stove was great for cooking and coffee. You don’t need to bring much to this place!

We celebrated some Sweet Sixteens with 6 teens who had a blast during their stay at the Beehive Cabin, Sleep Library & Tipi while the grownups enjoyed the comforts of the fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and sauna at the tiny cabin down the hill. We gathered for a pizza party, made campfire s'mores and explored the easily accessible hiking trails and a great farm stand within walking distance. Mary is an exceptional host who has thought of everything to make her guests comfortable. She is very communicative and provides a lot of information about what to expect and do during your stay. Such a peaceful place to unplug and connect with nature and one another. We are also happy that we brought some delicious honey home to keep enjoying the experience!

This is a fantastic and unique place, and the host is the most helpful, considerate, and accommodating person, who made our stay truly unforgettable! She answered every single question with a gazillion of suggestions which truly helped plan the trip better - e.g. she suggested that we eat lunch at the Apple Hill Farm or do a hike to the nearby reservoir and to Mt. Grace next day. Sleeping in the cozy beehive was very pleasant and safe, no need to worry about the bees - they indeed mind their business and don't get into the house. The table next to the pizza oven outside offers amazing opportunities for group meals. The farm stand shop 10 min away offers a great variety of food for breakfast. I recommend planning what to bring to this place for cooking - wood, coal, utensils (knives, spoons, forks, spatulas) - assume you need to have everything from home for your comfort - there are only few things available, and we were notified about this in advance. Also be ready for a short 2 min walk to the bathroom with a flashlight if late, - the bathroom with shower is located in a different house. It was a fabulous experience, and Mary deserves "the best host" medal! I will recommend this to every friend!

This cabin is something special. The property is quiet, the bed is super comfortable and Jon was an amazing host. The cabin is situated in the woods on an old road. There is a fire pit, electric kettle, tea, coffee and some paper plates, bowls, utensils, etc. Outhouse is clean. There is a 3 mile hiking/ mountain bike trail 1/4 mile from the canin. Coyotes serenaded me at night as did the gray wood frogs and barred owls. The doors open in the rear of the cabin with a huge screen that faces the forest. Everything about this place was magical. You won't find a better host than Jon. Super cool and very accommodating. If it's available, book it.
