You will need towels/rags/soap/toilet paper and all essentials. It is merely a toilet, sink, and shower. There is a Weber charcoal grill available on site. Bring your essentials. Lizardsniffer is a working horse farm with a variety of rental cabins and RV slips. We DO allow tent camping. Each RV slip has water, septic, 50 amp service and Wifi. An Amenities Cabin is provided for use by all RV site guests. The cabin includes a full-sized washer/dryer, a full bathroom with bidet, and an oversized jacuzzi tub. Guests must sign-up for a 4-hour timeslot. The cabin is available for use between the hours of 8am-8pm. Many of our RV sites feature private fenced paddocks for people bringing their horses or dogs. Great campsite and well cared for. My only suggestion is they read messages fully. I asked 3-4 questions and got a single word reply. So communicate was not great, but I’d definitely stay again. Very accessible and comfortable campsite.

Staying at George Bushcraft for an extra night before and an extra night after attending a class with Jacks Genega is the perfect way to bookend the experience! The property is peaceful and beautifully maintained. I always look forward to my education and mental reset while I’m there.

We really loved staying here. Peaceful, quiet and pretty surroundings. Wi-if and full hookups. Close to the grocery store, laundry and surrounding little towns and big cities too. Will definitely be coming back!

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Lizard Sniffer! The host Randy was very friendly and offered us a golf cart to ride around the property and see the other sites they are working on. They have a Hobbit House that is the most miraculous thing out of this world! I truly felt like we were walking into an amusement park with all the detail they have put into this place. All the cabins are different themes and unique in their own way. It was not crowded at all and so relaxing to spend time watching the horses and their super friendly Donkey. We brought our dog Buddy with us to stay and they have horse paddocks set up next to the sites for use for your dogs to roam free or for your horses to get a little exercise when traveling. Randy has made sure that all his guests have everything they could possibly need to enjoy their stay to include free firewood, washer, dryers bathrooms with Jacuzzi tubs and a bidet. You can definitely see how much thought, imagination and love has been poured into every detail of this place. This is no ordinary campground by any means! “Lizard Sniffer” I highly suggest that you book a few nights to see this magical place and meet these awesome people that have shared their vision for others to enjoy.! I wish we had had more time to spend there but definitely plan to go back again soon! Well done Randy!

We had such a great stay at Lizard Sniffer Horse Farm! Our dog absolutely loved running around the property—it was a dream for dogs. The RV spot was beautiful and very private, with plenty of space and dedicated dog runs. Having access to a washer, toilet, and bathtub was such a huge bonus and made the stay even more comfortable. Peaceful, well set up, and clearly dog-friendly. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

3 nights at Broad River Retreat

Consistently well cared for for years, Broad River Retreat is always a solid choice with an unparalleled view. The road in is gravel, slightly hilly, but well tended and any passenger vehicle should have no trouble there. Jean is an attentive host but never intrudes on your privacy. You have the six acres all to yourself and don’t see neighbors while you are there. It’s our perfect definition of what enjoying the outdoors should be and has comforts to boot. And the broken glass doors at the shelter that another reviewer mentioned have been repaired, so if you use the shelter, you have perfect views out the many sets of glass doors.

Epic! Best place property we’ve visited. Stayed a week and it seemed like a minute and the week was gone. Michael is the best there is, with some folks you just know. Plenty of dried, cut, stacked, covered wood to burn. All secluded back on your own little peninsula with equipped BBQ and picnic table. And that dude is one cool cat! Met us exactly as we pulled up told us everything we needed to know then disappeared lol it was perfect. We’ll be back. Thank you so much Michael, we appreciate the opportunity to share your beautiful land. See you soon

Watson Mill Bridge State Park Campground

We camphosted here for 6 months! Bike trails, hiking trails, equestrian trails, cabins, equestrian camping, RV and tent camping, playground and amazing damn and covered bridge can be enjoyed here. RV spots are very nice, level, spacious and have hookups.
