The gates will be open to Williams Rock Area by noon of your arrival. It's primitive camping, so find your own "spot" on the property, respect the privacy of others at their "spots". First come first serve on each spot. The camp spots are not graveled, leveled, etc.. just the bare earth. The majority of this property is the woods, open fields, rough terrain, etc. So you will experience all Nature has to offer. Things like poison ivy, seed ticks, chiggers, ants, spiders, snakes, wildlife...Always check with the host on the app before arrival. Arriving when it gets dark will mean you will be setting up in the dark unless you have brought lanterns. If you've booked a site, the gate will be open for you, but you will be on your own. The camp host from April 27 - July 1st is on call for guests needs, but is not on site. Checkout time is by Noon. Check in is at 2:00 pm. If you'd like to stay another night, you must reserve another night online.

Batesville Mountain Campground is about "getting away from it all" with nary another soul in sight. If you have qualms about being alone in the woods -- this is NOT the place!! There are only four campsites on the entire property so you are always out of sight and hearing of any -- you can even upgrade for $10/night and have the entire property all to yourself! It is that special!! And absolutely jaw-dropping beautiful! Sparky, the stone mason who quarried, cut and stacked every rock on every trail within the campground, has created a wondrous place to come camp and explore. We are also now restoring Sparky's original homestead -- the one room Green Cabin is soon to be our new "romantic retreat" with outdoor kitchen and shower, chicken house, and two-hole traditional Swedish "utedass"–or privy. As to where to sleep ... well you may lay your head anywhere -- under the stars, atop a pinnacle, out in a field or sheltered in the woods by the river. BUT this is "DIY" camping -- as we have day jobs we are unable to cater to your every whim and you will have to be able to "depend on yourself" to negotiate the campground, set up your campsite and secure needed resources. Thus if there is any concern or question you really should stay at one of our other properties either Camp Toasty or Pinnacle Springs Recreational Camp. Nice little spot with good neighbors in the cabins next door. Very peaceful and quiet area near Lake Conway. Ideal spot to take a break for a day or 2 to relax, camp out, and do some fishing. It can be a little tricky if you are pulling a RV. We've been able to get a 32-footer (pictured) but there is a particular way to maneuver in there. Learn more about this land: Keep it as simple as possible on the edge of the woods. Pitch a tent, do some fishing, or just chill and read your favorite books. Our little Lakeview hide-away is ideal for a quick get-away that's not too far away. Even if you forget to bring something, there a gas station with fishing supplies less than 8 minutes drive. 110 and 220 connections.

Weekend Trip to Rocky Creek Ranch Voted Best In St.

My family and I loved our time together on Michelle’s land. Picture perfect views, kayaks, paddle boats, water toys. We never even left the pond it was so much fun. The view of the lake is beautiful, but with a private pond and dock all to our selves, we couldn’t be pulled away! There were 4 of us and 3 dogs and not any of us had a single complaint. Also it was the nicest Hipcamp restroom I have ever experienced. 10/10 recommend! We can’t wait to go back!

1 night at Private Arkansas Riverfront RV Site

Im considering going back immediately. This is the solitude and peace I’ve been driving around the country looking for (even though it’s in Jason’s backyard!) Plus it has water and electric hookups! You can really have it all! Per Jason’s recommendation, I got up early to watch the sun rise over the Arkansas river. It was perfect. You really park as close as humanly possible to the river, like it’s your RV, then a slope, then the river. I spent a day playing guitar on the steps that lead down to the water’s edge, and I think I’d do that every day if I could. Thanks for sharing heaven!

We (two adults and two dogs) enjoyed our stay with our 23 foot camper. We were the only people at the campsite, which was wonderful for all of us. The site is pretty and level and the access to walk alongside the river bank was a perk. Johnny was quick to respond to any questions we had. Thanks Johnny!

Robert and his wife Susan were wonderful hosts! Me and my lady had a great time. The outlook is jaw-dropping gorgeous and the stars were great, little to no light pollution this far out. We were also pleasantly surprised with the amount of amenities we were provided! The coffee was great! We also would like to mention the common era is awesome, with a full ceramic toilet, hot water, and working sink. 10/10!

All three of the camp sites would have been great; we stayed at Site 1 just next to the deep ravine. The sunset and sunrise views were wonderful. We greatly enjoyed river barges that passed by throughout the night (5 or 6). Their arrival and passage was subtle but apparent. Wood was available for a campfire in the provided ring but due to the wind off the river we chose not to light a fire. We saw a variety of wild fowl. Our two dogs enjoyed the environment following a half day of road travel. We had no trouble locating the camp. We look forward to returning with friends.

Weekend Trip to Pinnacle Springs Recreational Park

My boyfriend and I stayed the weekend in site 6 and had a great time. Camp Toasty was all to ourselves the first night. The other campers were down at the creek. It looked nice but we were unsure if our vehicle would handle it well so we stayed up top. The neighboring donkey came over to visit at the fence and stayed until I couldn't hold my arm up to pet her any more. lol. The next morning my boyfriend saw the pig and was so amazed at how big he is. The nights were quiet, the stars were clearly seen from our site and it was just all round a great stay. We had purchased 2 bundles of firewood with our site and boy did they deliver. The wood was there when we got to our site (it actually helped locate which was our site). These were chunks of wood not just those little pieces you get from the store. They were stacked and there were some already placed in our fire pit ready for us. There was even a pile of sticks for kindling waiting. The site was mostly flat so finding somewhere to set up our tent and potty house wasn't difficult while still being near the car. It really was much better than I expected.

My group accidentally booked a campsite here before they opened for the season. Rather than cancelling our booking, they opened the whole camp just for us. I traveled in a group of women and never felt unsafe. Tommy was very kind and welcoming. Bathroom facilities were clean and well kept and the tent camping site was nice and spacious. Overall, we had a great experience here!

We had an absolute blast! The campsite was very nice with a great view of the river and mountains in the back. The hosts leave plenty of firewood out so no need to go searching for some. Our host made sure we had everything we needed and made sure we knew he was there if we needed help with anything. Highly recommend!!!

My husband, dog, and I only stayed here for a night but wish we could’ve stayed for longer! They’ve got a great setup right in Petit Jean and are very accommodating and friendly. The access to the farm store and bathrooms is a huge plus as well. It’s right off a road but there is hardly any traffic on it.
