A third generation tree farmer is trying to regenerate this property to keep it as a land sanctuary. This is a project of my brother and I, to create a healing center / space for people to come connect with the land. We have just built a deck to put a yurt on site for healing sessions. I am a cranio sacral therapist and did my yoga teacher training in India, taught in India, Australia, Hawaii, now RI! If you are interested in sessions please reach out to me. I host women's gatherings here on the land as well as seasonal celebrations (solstice and equinox). This site is a perfect nook for campers, car campers or tenters to hide away a bit. It is nestled opposite side of the field from the entrance by the side of the road against a rock wall and amidst pine and autumn olive trees.

Sandy bottom site is the perfect tent spot without worrying of mud or grass. The friend who built my deck made the small fire pit on the site.

Tucked away in southwestern Rhode Island is a nice little piece of land that has a little Sandy parking spot a nice fire pit and a piece of land with native plants all over it that will be blooming all summer. I’m sure. I was there during the spring in the violets in the blue were in bloom. It was nice and quiet and we got the rest we needed..

I had a great time truck camping here. Not too far from the road but enough in the woods where It feels private. Victoria had good communication and accommodated my visit on a same-day reservation.

We arrived late but our host, Victoria, was super easygoing about this and still checked in that we were ok as well as letting us know we could use the deck platform to do some stargazing (northern lights were reported to possibly be visible). While not far from the road way we felt secluded and had a lovely quiet night and woke to the bray of a donkey in the distance (total bonus).

Site 3 - Leyden’s Forest

We loved our stay here! The property is very beautiful, peaceful and quiet. Site 3 felt secluded, and we enjoyed the communal fire pit and the opportunity to get to know another couple camping as well. We will definitely be back!
