4WD accessibility only. The only exception to the 4WD accessibility is the 'Dam at the Rustic Resort', as it enters through a different gate. We are a 90acre private property who raise cattle and goats and have opened up to campers who, like us, prefer and love peace and nature. We have all of our sites on Booking request ( Reserve). Please check that you are ok with our property rules before you book. Booking requests after 6pm may be accepted the next morning. If you are one of our valued regulars, thank you, we love hosting you on the property and always look forward seeing you again. If your preferred site is not available , shoot us a message , we may have an alternative for you:) Our rules are really not rocket science, don't take things that are not yours, use the toilets instead of our bush, don't cut down trees or damage things, that includes damaging trees, don't leave anything but ash in the firepit ,make sure the fire and coals are fully extinguished, remove your rubbish and respect and consider your fellow campers and our neighbors. Axe throwing has recently become popular within the city, if you must try it on the property , bring a board, our trees are not to be used as targets. Stay out of our gated paddocks. This is for Biosecurity and your safety. We are trying to create peace and tranquility that people crave so much when they get out of their busy lives. We are not the place for rowdy parties or large groups. Most of our sites are nestled on different levels between trees and bush, so you may feel like you are the only ones there. Campfires in the provided fire pit or drum only. Due to the unique surroundings we offer, we do require you to be extra vigilant with fire safety. You are most welcome to use your own off the ground firepit anywhere in your site. Please read site descriptions carefully as we have sites that are substantially different in access, privacy , level ground and distance to a toilet. Our property is dog friendly to responsible dog owners We have a large farm dam that never runs dry, (NO fishing) Wamuran is less than an hour north from the city. This is a beautiful site right beside our amazing farm dam, however all of our neighbours have dogs that bark occasionally, so if you are sensitive to dogs barking, this may not be the space for you to relax.   We have wonderful birdlife at the dam, including a couple of resident Kingfishers. The Dam is a perfect swimming hole as it is very deep and there is a ladder to get into it so you don't have to get your feet muddy :) The Dam Wall is large and opens out to a grassy spillway as you drive in and the site is on the opposite site of the dam where you will see the fire pit and the toilet.  There is easily room for two 6 meters caravans and a camping trailer if you use the spillway & the wall. Vans have to have good ground clearance. This site is restricted to 5 adults,  but if you are a family with kids you are welcome to  send us a message BEFORE you book, as we may be able to accommodate a larger group, if it includes kids and you are ok with our quiet time. You are the only group at the dam, however we do have neighbors and this is why the quiet time of 10pm still applies.( Quiet time means, no generators, no music and no loud voices) You will need a 4WD if towing and access is via a narrow winding farm track. If not towing a 2WD will be fine.  Access is via gate 4.  This site is perfect for families that like to be close to the water. Please be aware that it can get busy in summer as our other campers also use the dam frequently. There is also a driveway past the site. There is a fire pit, and firewood is free to collect of the ground, please note we no longer permit the use of a chainsaw or electric tools. . We love our bushland and animal life and would prefer to share this with like minded people. We kindly ask you familiarize yourselves with our property rules to see if it matches your camping style.

Woop Woop is a ripper site, tucked away from most other sites with lots of space. You will feel like the only ones there, but for the birds, goannas and possums.  While this site is nice and private, it is not sound proof as noise travels far in the quiet of the country night. Quiet time of 10pm  applies in all of our sites. ( Quiet time means, no generators, no music and no loud voices) If you are towing or if it is wet, this is a 4WD site only. This site can easily accommodate up to 9 people. We have it listed for 4 people on instant booking, but you are a family group that is bigger, you are welcome to message us before you book and we can adjust booking numbers for you if you are happy to comply with our quiet time. You could fit 2 camper trailers or up to 3 tents, and while a 5m off-road Van can fit, access tracks are tight.  There is a fire pit with log seats and firewood is free to collect of the ground, please note we no longer permit the use of a chainsaw or electric tools. The toilet is in easy walking distance. The dam is a 10-15 minute walk away, there will be floating noodles waiting there in summer for everyone to use. You may want to bring the kids push bikes. We love our bushland and animal life and would prefer to share this with like minded people. We kindly ask you familiarise yourselves with our property rules to see if it matches your camping style. The Black Stump site is perfect if you want plenty of space or if you have a family group, or some friends camping.  We love our bushland and animal life and would prefer to share this with like minded people. Our sites are nice and private but not sound proof, quiet time of 10pm  applies in all of our sites. ( Quiet time means, no generators, no music and no loud voices) This site can easily accommodate up to 8 people and 3 vehicles. If you are a group with adults and kids of more than 5 please contact us before booking and we can open up so you can book for more if you are happy to comply with our quiet policy.  You can fit a 5m van plus a camping trailer or tents. The access track is tight in places ,and you will need a 4WD. There is a fire pit, firewood is free to collect from the ground, please note we do no longer accept the use of chainsaws or power tools.  The toilet is a short walk. The dam is a lovely 10 minute stroll away from the site and in summer there usually is some floating noodles there for everyone's use. Due to recent weather and damage to our roads, all of our sites are only 4WD accessible.  It’s a great spot on the ridge amongst the trees. It has two lovely parts to the site, sometimes tents will set up on the top site as it is more level.  If you bring a trailer, you can drive through beside Dobuggerall and on the way up reverse into Didjabringyabeeralong. You may check out this option on foot, before attempting it on a wet road, it may be easier to drive straight in.  Vans or trailers will need subtle blocking to level them.   It’s a walk downhill through the bush to the loo. If you bring a trailer you must be confident in reversing into the site. All of our sites are spaced for privacy but in the quiet of the country night sound travels far, so they are not sound proof, because of this quiet time of 10pm  applies in all of our sites.( Quiet time means, no generators, no music and no loud voices) We love our bushland and animal life and prefer to share this with like minded people. The dam is a lovely 10 minute walk under trees if you feel like a swim, it's the perfect spot to cool off in summer. There is a fire pit, firewood is free to collect from the ground, please note we no longer permit the use of a chainsaw or electric tools. . Dobuggerall is in the heart of our Campgrounds, there is plenty of space to spread out over a couple of level pads between the trees. Our sites are nice and private but unfortunately not sound proof, quiet time of 10pm  applies in all of our sites. ( Quiet time means, no generators, no music and no loud voices) This site is perfect for a camping trailer or a few generous sized tents.  A 5m Van will fit but you will need to be comfortable negotiating the tight winding access tracks. A 4WD is essential if you are towing or when wet. We love our bushland and animal life and would prefer to share this with like minded people. The site is listed for 4people on request to book .  Please contact us if you have a family bigger than that and we can see if we can accommodate you if you confirm you are ok with our quite time. There is a fire pit and firewood is free for you to collect of the ground, please note we no longer permit the use of a chainsaw or electric tools.  The toilet is only a short walk up the hill. If you want to cool off in summer our beautiful dam is only a 10 minute walk away. We kindly ask you familiarize yourselves with our property rules to see if it matches your camping style. Dolittle is a lovely small site , perfect for a rooftop or tent , even a small van will fit easily.  It is situated uphill from Dobuggerall in what we call Dolittle land. There is a small space beside Dolittle which can be used as carpark. The site has a fire pit and is in close proximity to a toilet. This site can accommodate a maximum of 2 adults, if you would like to add a child or two , send us a message before you book, so wee can adjust numbers on the booking site. Quiet time of 10pm  applies in all of our sites.( Quiet time means, no generators, no music and no loud voices) You will need a 4wd. There is a log bench seat and a fire drum, firewood is free for you to collect of the ground. The dam is a 10 minute walk through our bush tracks. In summer there is floating noodles for everyone's use.  We love our bushland and animal life and would prefer to share this with like minded people.  We kindly ask you familiarise yourselves with our property rules to see if it matches your camping style. Absolute beautiful place. Lovely hosts and very welcoming, including their beautiful dog. The dam was the best freshwater place i’ve ever swam. The cows are the most precious and lovely animals. It is well maintained and easy access to everything. Such an amazing place to be. We will definitely be coming back again with our doggies. This place is definitely a favourite of ours now. Very peaceful place and each campsite had heaps of privacy. We will definitely be back again, thank you for the best time. Couldn’t of had a better anniversary❤️

Bathrooms were clean and the dam was so lovely for a quick dip to cool down! Doris was so friendly and helpful. The property is gorgeous with private little spots to set up camp and disconnect.

Had a fantastic couple of days at The Rustic Resort Wamuran, the dam was brilliant, the kids and dogs spent hours in the water. A quiet well-maintained site, Doris was the perfect host. We will definitely be going back. 10/10 rating.

Great place to stay, awesome and very friendly hosts and the camp sites are nice and big with plenty of shade and nice wildlife would definitly recommend to anyone and there dam is huge with plenty of space for kayaks and paddle boards

This is an excellent property. The individual sites are nice and private with ample space. The toilets are clean and tidy and well maintained. Access to the dam for a swim is also excellent. I have been a couple of times now and will certainly return.

First time camping at WoopWoop but not my first stay at The Rustic Resort. I've never had a bad time out here. The site was private, extremely well maintained and Doris went above and beyond accomodating an early check in. As always, I can't reccomend this place enough and look forward to my next visit!

Such a great spot to camp so close to Brisbane. The toilet is close to camp site and super clean. The beautiful big dam was my favourite part, great to float around and cool off. The owners, Peter and Doris are lovely and were so helpful when we had a bit of a problem on the last day. Loved it so much have already booked a return trip!

The Dam at the Rustic Resort
This was our second time staying at Rustic Resort, but beside the dam this time. Beautiful location right beside the dam, lovely flat patch to set up camp on. Toilet amenities were clean. We loved watching the cows graze on the hill, and the wildlife/birdlife. My dog particularly loved swimming in the dam to cool down - as did we! And as always, it was lovely to have the hostess, Doris, popped in for a chat. Given this little peace of paradise is just 4t mins from home, it makes for a great getaway and we will most definitely be back! Thanks for having us again, Peter & Doris!

The site was beautiful and felt like pure untouched land. Very secluded and the dam was amazing to swim in. Can’t wait to try all the other sites… but I suspect the dam site will stay my favourite 🥰

This was such a lovely camping trip! We stayed at the Veginn camp site which was a perfect size for 2 of us and our 1 year old. Our bub absolutely loved his first time camping and the bush walks around the area. Bribie Island was just a short drive away and we had a beautiful day trip there. We would definitely camp here again!

Rustic Resort Wamuran was a great little break away. We loved the bush, the birds, the escape from people. The 4x4 track in was very manageable - great to be in a place that was not highly manicured. The toilets were extremely clean, and had signs clearly explaining what could/couldn't go into them. The host came down and had a great, friendly, informative chat. It was also great that it was pretty close to Caboolture - but you would never know it. Overall - a great little get-away.

Absolutely loved our stay at WoopWoop! This was the first camping trip for the two of us without any “camping expert friends,” and WoopWoop turned out to be the perfect choice. I chose this campsite for its location and amenities, and I have zero regrets — we’re already looking forward to coming back, and I highly recommend it to others. The site and facilities were exceptionally clean and very well maintained by Peter & Doris, who welcomed us with genuine warmth. We added firewood to our booking and Wow, I was pleasantly surprised by the great quality of it. Plus, the little bit of 4WD driving required to enter the site added an extra layer of fun to the experience! If this was in middle of year, I would already made another booking :) 10/10!!

The Dam at the Rustic Resort
What a spot! Peter and Doris have one of the best Hipcamps I have stayed at. I was on a solo mission, and it met my requirements perfectly. Peaceful and secluded, but also super convenient being just under an hour from Brisbane City. A float in dam is the best to start, and finish, your day. You’ll also share the space with plenty of amazing bird life, including a few beautiful Kingfishers. I look forward to bringing back a few mates for a weekend away.
