Description

The Lost Prairie Campground is located along Hackleman Creek, nestled among towering trees of spruce, and Douglas fir. This campground is great for those wanting a historic experience; just like the olden days, water is available by handpump only and you’ll have access to Old Santiam Wagon Road, which helped early travelers cross the Cascades! Eight of these 10 sites are available to tent campers only. Cars and trailers can access the other two spots. The campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis, unless you’re reserving the entire campground as a group! Be sure to check the official site before you go.

Decent campground, but pretty close to the highway and the road noise is pretty intense, especially the big trucks going by. Very small Hackleman creek nearby. OK campground if you need a place to stop, but wouldn't recommend making a a special trip.
