Description

Let’s cut to the chase: extreme camping isn’t for everyone. If your packing list looks like a liquor store run, you might want to consider a campground with some basic amenities–for safety’s sake. Lucky for you (and your thirsty–er–outdoorsy buddies) this rustic 6-site, tent-only, free campground is equipped with vaulted toilets, picnic tables, fire rings, and is located right off of Highway 242. Don’t worry though, the campground is labeled low-use, surrounded by towering Douglas fir trees for privacy and the Linton Lake Trailhead is just across the highway for some sober, day time hiking. Check website for closures.
