Description

Popular with equestrians, the trails radiating from Moss Springs Campground seem long and dusty to hikers. The prize on these trails is reaching Reds Horse Ranch, a closed old lodge by a vast meadow. Moss Springs campground was constructed to accommodate visitors with packstock, riding stock and campers bound for the wilderness. With more horses than campers Moss springs is pretty private and we promise nobody will hear your campfire rendition of “Timber." Check website for closures.
