If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
This campsite is stunning. Undeveloped land & beautiful view, a little pond a short walk away, really beautiful sunrise/sunset. The site has a picnic table, trash can, fire pit - we were super bummed we were only there for one night.
Jennifer was also great. We ended up arriving an hour late, and she had no problem accommodating us. She left us with wood + kindling to start a fire, as well as water to make sure we got it out safely. She was super friendly and welcoming. We would happily stay here again - highly recommend!
Even better than expected!
This. Place. is. Amazing!! Jennifer is a spectacular host, and the site totally exceeded our expectations. The views are astounding, very private, plenty of land to explore, there was even water and firewood waiting for us at camp. Of all the camping spots on our cross country journey, this one was definitely our favorite! If you are heading through Nebraska, I highly recommend a visit to Jennifer's.
Best part of our cross country trip
This place exceeded our expectations. I have never used hip camp before, so I took a chance based on the reviews. Had an amazing experience. We arrived later in the evening than we expected. The host son was there to meet us and help us get set up. The most exciting part was following him to the campsite, where we had to open a gate, move the cows away, and drive through a grassy field to our camping spot. Wide open spaces, clear blue skies, cows roaming around freely, cornfields, and a beautiful pond. Just like I had hoped, we got to sleep under a blanket of stars like I’ve never seen since I was a kid. Be careful though, you will see UFO activity! It was amazing. The host was so accommodating. It was one of the best parts about our drive across the country. If you’re looking for quiet, solitude, and beauty, I can’t recommend this place highly enough. The bathroom situation: The host lets you use the bathroom in her basement it has its own side entrance. We ended up not using it because we got there so late and left early in the morning.
My wife and I truly enjoyed our time at Lazy AA. We were given a tour by the host on a horse drawn carriage even though we arrived very late at night. There were tons of farms animals to interact with and our two dogs loved meeting every one of them. I would highly recommend this spot to any fellow hipcamper going through Nebraska.
Jennifer and her family were so lovely and welcoming. I couldn't camp in the normal spot because of the rainy weather, so they allowed me to set up camp in their front yard, and had contacted me ahead of time so I was aware. Jenny has a lovely property, and my time there was relaxing and fun. She even took me for a carriage ride! Thanks Jenny!
We got in late and the hosts were very accommodating. We camped in the field in with the horses, which was a neat experience! Pretty morning views! We never saw if there was a bathroom to use, but it wasn't a big deal for us because we got in late at night and left early in the morning. We would recommend a stay here.
The site was absolutely serene. So quiet and peaceful...we slept beautifully. The sunrise and sunset were spectacular. We felt especially welcome by the hosts! Most definitely would recommend.
