Description

This small campground snuggles right up to the scenic Moose Lake, a lovely body of water surrounded by lofty trees and expansive (but not expensive) views. Seeing what can be caught is a popular pastime at this spot, and it’s ridiculously easy to pass an entire day immersing yourself in the laid back world of fishing. Don’t roll up expecting amenities like potable water, though. Staying hydrated will be your responsibility, so bring plenty of water, or a method to treat any water from the lake. There aren’t many bad camping spots in the Flathead National Forest, but this could totally be one of the best.
