What a lovely place to stay. Ben has equipped the place very well with coffee maker, French press, silverware, plates, mugs, and even a pot and pan. There is a mini fridge and microwave as well. We choose to do all our cooking at the fire pit with our own gear, but what a lovely option to have. Thank you!
The bed was comfortable and having a flush toilet is a real plus.
We will be adding this place to our rotation of glamping sites.

Damselfly at Streamside Retreat
This place was pure magic. The camper was thoughtfully appointed with a dreamy bed to sleep on. Seriously comfortable with fluffy soft linens. Even the bath towels were soft and fluffy. I loved having plenty of space to roam with my pups. A place to keep dry during the rain. It was even great to only have one bar of service most of the time. Can’t wait to come back!

The camper was nicely renovated, definitely a glamping experience. Was very well stocked. The lighting on the inside is a little harsh as it's very bright white so really tried to avoid using the indoor lights in the evening. Obviously it's a vintage camper so there's going to be small critters on occasion. Pretty certain there was probably one that may have passed away inside the camper somewhere at some point, as there was a very particular smell by the kitchen. Every time we would open a kitchen drawer we could smell it, again it's camping life something you can't really avoid nor the fault of the owner.
Enjoyed the little spring fed creek. It was a lot closer to the highway than we expected, as we could hear traffic and a railroad track that gets trains three times a day. Sunday the neighbor was target practicing with his rifle so kind of put a damper on the peacefulness a bit, but overall I would do it again.
We were lucky that we had the little spot to ourselves, because they have another camper not too far away from this one. I don't think I would have enjoyed the spot as much if that one would have been taken at the same time.
A little mishap during check-in, we were told we couldn't check in at our check-in time but it would be a half hour later, and the instructions we were sent were not the correct instructions. So when we got there we ended up at the wrong campsite and had to call to figure out where the correct one was with no signal.

What a perfect spot for our quiet getaway! The tent set up was great and fully stocked (way more than expected) The property is beautiful and having a bathroom and outdoor shower was the cherry on top!
We made a day trip to Traverse City and also a beach day to Ludington, the beach was beautiful.

Ferned Creek Lux-Camping/Glamping:)
My husband and I stayed here with our dog and had the most amazing and relaxing time. Our dog does well off leash and had the time of her life exploring the property. The stream was her favorite part! We love to camp, but this was extra special because everything is already set up and you get to enjoy being in nature with the comforts of a home. It got a little chilly at night so we loved having the electric fireplace in the tent. The water never warmed up for us but it didn’t bother us at all. Just something to keep in mind especially when staying during the colder seasons. Ben, the host, was very helpful and responsive. We would recommend this campsite to anyone looking for a luxury retreat in nature :)

The site was not as listed. It is not set up for RVs of any size. Campers be advised to not bring your RV here. It is dangerously tight and turning around was impossible without having to clear brush and branches along the way so they didn’t damage my camper. There was not potable water available as listed. It is 100 ft from an active railroad track. When I arrived it was difficult to discern where to go within the forest to find our site. When I reached out to Ben with my concerns he didn’t respond to address them or to see if we were set up ok. The path to our site actually goes back to standing little cabins that he rents out. We thought we would be alone and found other campers there. They kindly helped as spotters for me to turn the RV around. I haven’t heard from the owner since I shared my concerns. I even reached out before posting this to hopefully address my issues or even get a refund and got no response. I have never actually posted a negative review in my life since I prefer to foster solutions as I know generally business owners want to do the right thing. However, getting no response has forced me to speak the truth publicly. This site should be for rustic tent camping only at a much lower price. The stream in the picture isn’t even near the camp site at all and is only accessible next to one of the other cabins he rents out. Overall I was mislead and overcharged.
