    The Tent Site #6 is a long way off the beaten path down a long dirt road in the middle of an earth quarry of some kind. It was very quiet and my tent site was on a little body of water but no water birds or fish evident. The outhouse was quite a ways away at another campsite. Fortunately I didn’t need it in the middle of the night. It was a fine place for an overnight. Don’t think I would stay longer than one night.

    Wow, what a gem! This land is so spacious and well taken care of by the host. Michael was friendly and easy to communicate with and has put in a lot of effort to maintain the safety and privacy of these spot. I hope this land treats future campers as well as it did me.

    Nice peaceful spot with plenty of level ground to pitch a tent. There is an outhouse too which is always nice. Micheal was friendly and gave very clear directions, and as two young women in an unfamiliar area, we felt safe. Thank you, Michael!

    This was a wonderful place to camp that was very quiet and peaceful. As a Solo camper I slept like a baby. The host was very helpful. Only thing id recommend is adding signage on the gravel road leading up to the gate. Pulling up at night was a little confusing. Was quickly resolved when owner answered phone.

    Michaels land was very spacious! My boyfriend and I (and our dog) loved it. Michael was a great host, he met us at the gate and talked to us about his property and showed us to the campsite. I’d stay here again, for sure!

    We Loved staying on Michael's land. We were lucky enough to have the camp to ourselves the whole week. Enjoyed walking and fetching our dogs around the property. Great spot for watching the trees change and star gazing. We were even able to see the Northern Lights. Finally saw a moose on the last day. The pit toilet was nice to have and is very well cared for. Very pleased to find this spot and would stay again.

    Michael's land is very quiet, secluded, and there is plenty to explore. We stayed at Site #4, right off the main path into the land, and it was great. This site sits on a small ridge and there is a nice view looking out into the deep woods. We took our average sized camper van and there was just enough room to park and put out our awning without catching it on fire from the pre-made pit. For average vehicles and tents this is the perfect site, if you have a larger vehicle I would consider one of the other sites. Michael was a great host and the site offered just what we needed to recharge.

    Michael met us w minimal notice to give us the rundown which was so helpful, we had the whole place to ourselves. Beautiful and quiet spot. Perfect for camping while exploring Acadia. Close to Ellsworth, which is a very cute little town. Couldn't have asked for more!

    Very large site with friendly and helpful host. We were the only campers in 1 of 3 sites close together by the restroom. Great to have restroom, but if others were there I’d opt for a different site for more privacy. The gravel road to the site was long but well maintained.

    The site is nicely developed for getting out of town and has many options for exploration both on the property and near by. When we stayed, no one else was in the other sites so we had a great since of privacy. There is definitely ATV noise from a trail not to far away, but that is not something that could be controlled. Just something to be aware of. Michael was super friendly and attentive. All around a very welcoming experience. At night you could hear the barn owls all around and see the whole night sky.
