Guaranteed to be a unique experience, the Magic bus sits on 7 acres with access to the Downeast Sunrise Trail offering hiking, biking and ATV's. The property is located for you to enjoy many scenic destinations including Acadia National park, Schoodic Peninsula and more. RV parking available and discount for stays over 28 days. The Magic Bus is well located to access many of Downeast Maine's best attractions: The access point to the Downeast Sunrise Trail, is right across from the driveway. From the bus: 4 miles to Tideway Market 10 miles to Ellsworth 21 miles to Acadia National Park 23 miles to Blue Hill Peninsula 26 miles to Bar Harbor 28 miles to Schoodic Peninsula Please note: This is an off grid camping experience This site has no electric, plumbing or internet Phone service can be good depending on carrier We provide campers with: Outhouse/ shower stall Outside water station for filling shower bags, dishes, etc. Solar shower bag Queen sized bed and pillows (with clean bedding protectors) Indoor kitchen area Coleman counter top stove 1-2 bottles of propane Basic kitchen items pots, pans, paper products Outdoor dishwashing station Wood for the campfire/matches Toilet paper for the outhouse (2) small battery operated lamps Solar a spot light at the entry to the bus Solar twinkle lights (which may or may not be charged) Campers Please bring: **Bring your own drinking water **Bring your own sheets (Queen) and sleeping bags **Bring your own towels **Bring your own flashlights **Bring your own bug spray (this is Maine) Furnishings include a Queen size bed and 2 comfortable chairs inside. Campers need to bring their own sheets and sleeping bags or blankets. Step down into the camp kitchen that is an entire screened in porch with a pub table and chairs. Basic kitchen items provided. Outdoors you will find the outhouse and a dish washing station. **Pet Owners - If you are traveling with a dog, know that our neighbors have livestock (goats, chickens). Please make sure they do not chase. You will be financially responsible for any damages to livestock. We have had close calls!

The Magic Bus is a unique experience located on a 7 acre site, in Franklin ME and has direct access to the Downeast Sunrise Trail which offers hiking, biking and ATV riding during the summer season. The property is surrounded by hundreds of acres of land which is heavily wooded and offers wildlife such as porcupine, bear, deer, moose, eagle, coyote, raccoon, fishers and even bob cat have been spotted. You will hear the sounds of nature, chickens and goats. This very cool 20' short bus offers a queen size bed, comfortable chairs, a full screened in porch, indoor camp kitchen, fire pit, outhouse and shower stall. **This site has no electric, internet or running water** ** Campers, bring your own sheets, sleeping bags and towels **Bring your own drinking water **Bring your own flashlights We provide Queen size bed and pillows with clean protectors We supply you with a filled 3 gallon solar shower bag We supply plenty of non-potable water for dishes and showering Coleman stove with 1-2 bottles of propane Basic kitchen utensils/pots and pans We supply some solar twinkle lights and battery operated lights, but depending on the weather and charging, you should also be prepared with your own light source This Magic Bus is well located to access many of Downeast Maine's best attractions: 4 miles to Tideway Market 10 miles to Ellsworth 21 miles to Acadia National Park 23 miles to Blue Hill Peninsula 26 miles to Bar Harbor 28 miles to Acadia National Park / Schoodic Peninsula

Experience a true Maine adventure in a beautiful off-grid cabin. Close to Acadia National Park and other scenic destinations, the cabin sits on 7 acres with direct access to the Downeast Sunrise Trail. Guaranteed to be a unique experience, the cabin offers the opportunity to truly unplug and relax. The cabin has no running water, electric or internet. We provide 20 gallons of water for dishes and solar shower bag - charged lamps and solar twinkle lights will be on-site. Indoor bucket/compost system along with outdoor outhouse. Full propane stove along with full refrigerator and freezer. Available year-round for long or short stays. The cabin sleeps 2, however (1) additional guest during warm weather is possible with futon on the porch. More guests can be accomodated on property in tents for additional fee. Possibility for full summer RV rental in field - contact for details. Need more room for a larger family or event? I loved sleeping in the bus. It was a great experience. It was quiet for the most part because the neighbors have goats but I would love to come back to bus again.

The Magic Bus, Downeast Maine
We loved our time at the magic bus. It is the perfect distance to Acadia we were able to easily go to the park every day and then relax back at the bus when we were done for the day. Our kids couldn't get enough of all the fairy and gnome houses. The sunrise trail is definitely worth walking we saw so many varieties of mushrooms. Unforgettable trip!

What a wonderful stay! The bus is such a nice, quirky spot nestled in nature. We loved that we were off the grid but also close to Acadia. It's also clear that there was a lot of thought put into the the decorations in the bus as well. Highly recommend!

The Magic Bus, Downeast Maine
My partner and I loved the Magic Bus experience! It was perfect for us- it was camping without the hassle of a tent or camper! We were looking for a quaint getaway spot and this was perfect! We also highly recommend Momo’s Cheesecake and downtown Ellsworth! It’s about 35/40 minutes from Bar Harbor/Acadia. My pup LOVED the cleared field and the ability to roam on her long line. We got a kick out of the neighbors goats and chickens. Denise was a great host thought of everything we could need and more. She was very responsive and accessible during our stay as well. Provided more than enough water to do dishes, and shower. 10/10!

Cozy & comfortable—all you need!
The Magic Bus, Downeast Maine
We LOVED the Magic Bus!!!! Our stay was amazing. My only regret is my own bad planning that kept us from arriving sooner. It was the perfect cozy + comfortable + private “glamping” experience. The set up is very spacious and clean inside the bus and kitchen. The kitchen was very equipped and having the Coleman stove was great so we didn’t have to start a fire for making breakfast. We were so thankful for the abundance of dry fire wood left for us!!!! I was so surprised how nice and clean the toilet was, usually these kinds of outdoor toilets smell of (ammonia?? idk something gnarly) that makes me want to pass right out—but this one was not unpleasant at all. Really nice to have the shower stall for the shower bag and Denise even left it in the sun so it’d be warm for us. The bed + bedding were very comfortable, which I was crossing my fingers for because my boyfriend is more sensitive about his sleeping situations. Outside of the bus, the property is also very spacious and well kept. You can tell that Denise puts a lot of love and thought into it all. We very much appreciated the tiny details like the solar lights and binder with local recommendations. I especially enjoyed all of the cute gnomes. Such a happy place that I’d recommend to anyone!! My advice is to bring earplugs in case of rain, it didn’t bother me as a heavy sleeper but my boyfriend who sleeps more lightly found he needed them when it was raining at night with the sound of rain drops on the roof of the bus.

I loved the cabin and the Bus theme it was very much a retro style. The bed was comfy and clean. The kitchen had plenty of utensils and cookware for us to use. Overall a great place to stay.
