All to yourself
100% of recent Hipcampers say this Hipcamp felt private.
Twisted Tree Camp s a 13 acre property about 5 miles north of Long Beach, Washington. The property is long and skinny, we have built road that accesses the back of the property. The campsite is in the middle of the woods, you can wake up to many birds singing and no neighbors in sight. In the evening you can listen to the frogs singing while you stare at th campfire. The road winds thru the trees and this is not suitable for vehicles longer than 23 feet or wider than 8 feet. There are multiple twisted trees along the road as you drive in to the campsite. We have recently built the road to the campsite at the back of the land so there is still evidence of recent construction along the road. There are two cameras on site - one at the entrance along Pacific Way and one by the campsite at the end of the road. Cameras are there to monitor the site after hipcampers have left and will not be on while campers have rented the space. Nearby there is SnowPeak Campfield that has a sauna and hot tub. There are many restaurants and public beaches to experience. During the summer there are numerous events like the kite festival, sandcastle festival, Rod Run and others.Guests will drive to the end of the road to this campsite which is a graveled flat turn-around. You will be private here with no one else around. There is a level tent pad down a short path to the south of the gravel pad. There are a few short paths to explore in the woods and you can walk the gravel road. There is space to have a fire on the gravel pad as well as a picnic table for your use.

Beautiful location, as expected! Very private, loved having a locking gate at the entrance to keep it that way. Very clean porta potty, no gross smells! Had a nice picnic table and fire pit ring, there’s two tent sites as well. Definitely recommend getting there before dark, as the tent sites are off of the main road down a short walk way but in the dark it was too disorienting for me to find lol we plopped our tent on the main road by the picnic table 🤣 Lots of peace and quiet we needed to feel rejuvenated again! Nature is so healing and it’s an amazing experience, makes you not want to go back to the hustle and bustle. Lots of Mushrooms growing to look at and chipmunks to hear! Thank you for a lovely stay, look forward to coming back in the future!

This was our first time camping in quite a while, and it was my niece and nephew’s very first camping trip—both are under two! We had such a great time. The weather was wonderful, the area was beautiful, and the space was perfect for everything we needed. We loved being able to take a nice long walk down to the beach and spend the afternoon playing there. The location was also really convenient—only about a 7-minute drive to the grocery store and restaurants, and just another minute or so from there to an area where you can actually drive right onto the beach. It was such a fun, relaxing weekend and a perfect spot to introduce the kids to camping. We would absolutely stay here again!
