It rained all night,the ground wasn't level so I got water in my tent ,so much that I ended up sleeping in my car at 2 AM. I packed up at first light ,all my gear wet,with a day still left the go. I also thought I was getting electricity, the first time I stayed I did,but not this time. Cold and wet I figured that I didn't want pneumonia and left. No wonder it was only 3 campers out.

The location is everything here, so close to the beach that the sound of the waves is all you really hear... which is great when you travel with pups who are always straining to hear what the neighboring pups are up to, LOL. The sites are rather close together, not private, but not quite stacked in like sardines. It was very peaceful sleeping under the tall trees, and the beach was amazing for walking early the next morning. We saw the Coast Guard practicing maneuvers in the cove, or so it appeared, and surfers trying to catch some waves.
The only issue we had was finding the place, as the info we printed off Hipcamp before we left, knowing we'd be without cell signal coming up from the south, listed an address that was very wrong. In fact, we called when we got there, and the employee said, "Oh, you're six miles away." We got to the right place, but the directions to the campsite from the staff were so vague and the map so tiny, it took us a while to find it. It was like, "Hang a left past where the old gas station USED TO BE," those sort of directions, as if we already knew the area. So, study the place on Google Maps really well BEFORE heading out and you should be golden!

Location to beach was unbeatable but site itself left a bit to be desired (trash in firepit, very close to neighbor, and ocean view required a walk over the berm). Would still stay here again due to amazing location but was really hoping for that ocean view from the camper van.

Close easy access to the beach. Accessible amenities. Keep in mind, it is very much an rv park so very close to neighbors. But a pro is running water and power hookups! Not “real” camping but the beauty of the beach makes up for that

The good:
La Push’s beaches were unmatched and we spent 90% of our daylight hours steps from our tent on First Beach, watching surfers and lounging in the sun. It was a truly beautiful place. The check in process was smooth, the front desk staff was friendly. and the campsites, (while small) had everything we needed. The bathrooms were clean enough and there was potable water at each site.
The bad:
There is no enforcement of unreasonable nighttime noise. Unfortunately on our second night, our neighbors quite literally threw a party (speakers, heavy drinking, 20 or more people in their site) and didn’t let up until well after midnight. Our tent was caught in the middle of it, probably 3 feet from the speaker. We had drunk people walking through our site well into the night to use the bathrooms as well. No one was available to ask these guests to be respectful and they were not amenable to requests from other campers. Because of this, we got very little sleep. I’m unsure if we would stay again for this reason alone.

This was a bait and switch situation. Not just for me but several other campers. I made my reservation in April for site 1 at Oceanside. Problems from the first as they had dates different than me Hipcamp confirmation. Then they put me at a different site 6 miles away! Crammed in, no view, no space for my dogs. And someone was in the spot! The worst HipCamp experience! At least 3 others there had the same experience

Nice oceanfront campground. We were camping in a small RV. Spaces are a bit small and not very private. Very pleasant check-in. 15 minute walk along the beach to the River's Edge restaurant in La Push, where we had an excellent dinner.

I was under the impression that we would be staying by the ocean, because that’s what all of the pictures advertise. We were 6 miles away from the resort on an RV site, and it was nice, but not private at all. The bathrooms were clean, and overall was a good stay, but I probably wouldn’t go back.

Lovely location, loved the “no generator” quiet peace.
Sleeping to crashing waves was amazing. Other campers were so friendly and the spotless, well equipped bathrooms were a wonderful bonus.

The pictures provided can be a bit misleading, the pictures are from the property but not at all what it’s like from the tent site. We ended up spending most of our time on the beach which was absolutely amazing. It is a beautiful beach making this site ok if your into that kind of thing. The camp site itself is in the corner of a large parking lot style RV campground, essentially zero privacy. It says water available but I am not sure where it was, I ended up asking our neighbour if we could grab a bit of their water since their site had full hookups. There are showers available but require “tokens” which can be purchased from the main office, only a dollar for 8 min but requires the extra walk. The showers also have no bench and only some have hooks, this makes it almost impossible to not get your clean clothes dry and clean. Overall it’s a good place to enjoy the beach but you don’t want to spend too much time at your actual camp site.

Pros: Location is great, people are nice, it’s safe, easy parking
Cons: weather is unexpected and not any covered areas, or covered picnic tables, bathrooms are very dirty / out of tolite paper / showers need tokens & also very dirty , porta potties by camp site & most rv sites ( not as dirty ) , no lighting at night, close to rv sites so does get loud ( would reccomend a luxury cabin for a better experience- doing that next time-)

Our site was next to an incredibly beautiful beach. The people were really nice. Our campsite had trash in it and it was next to portapotties. We were rattled because our rack and bike were stolen off the car at the restaurant down the street.

The resort staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed at their sister location because they were booked out for an event. It was quiet and the bathrooms were great! They were clean and they had hot showers! They also had vending machines for snacks and drinks and the burger joint across the street was delish! We definitely took our picture at the Twilight "treaty line!"

The beach area is beautiful, but I would not camp here again. Sites are super close to each other, so there is no privacy. We were tent camping, but they put us in an RV site where we were sandwiched between 2 RVs and on a gravel/rock road where we couldn’t even stake down our tent. There were a few designated tent sites, but that is not what was given to us. We asked if we could move to a tent site (there were 2 unoccupied) but the woman working check in said no they are all booked. However no one showed up to those sites. Maybe better to call than book through hipcamp if you are tent camping to make sure you get a tent site. But again I would not recommend camping here - you are basically camping in a parking lot walking distance to a beach. Also people were shooting off fireworks until like 11 pm and it was quite loud. After exploring the area it seems like there are lots of other places to camp nearby with more better views, privacy, and more quiet.

The site was private, except for the one night at midnight when a truck pulled up, parked right in front of our campsite, and then drove away after a few minutes. It was unclear which site was ours, and there was no one in the office to assist. Our site did not have a picnic table or fire pit, while all of the other sites did. The person that answered the after-hours number provided was not even aware of the RV park that we were staying in. She was unable to provide the laundry code or wifi password, so we had to work elsewhere the first day we were there - the host did not respond to me on Hipcamp for almost 24 hours. She apologized profusely, but it was quite inconvenient for the first part of our stay.

It was so much fun camping! La push is beautiful! Would not recommend this camp if you are looking for privacy or flat ground. Our tent was set on gravel rocks and every RV and camp site is placed directly adjacent to each other!

We loved the resort! It was very cool to stay on the Quiluete reservation. The beach was stunning and so close to our site! We were pretty close to our neighbors, but the access to the beach made up for it.

I loved how it was so close to all the attractions we planned on seeing. It was quiet , the bathrooms and showers were extremely clean.

I absolutely loved this camping spot!! So amazing being so close to the beach. Gorgeous views and a fantastic, sandy beach. The little store was very convenient and the bathrooms were nice. Only complaint is that all the bathroom's soap dispensers were empty for the 3 days we were there despite seeing crews maintain them regularly. Other than that it was great! Couldn't have asked for a better place to camp! Thank you!!!

The photos are misleading. It is incredibly packed and busy, even in the middle of the week (summer). The campsites are incredibly close to each other, literally like everyone gets 10-15ft or so. Septic hook ups were next to picnic tables. Rules required dogs to be in control and to not approach other leashed dogs, I had several unleashed dogs approach us even when I told the owners no. This is not a place for anxious or reactive dogs, or humans who need space from others. We had to leave early, would not recommend if you need privacy/quiet but seems to be a great family spot if you’re into that.

It was a very beautiful place to visit. My site was almost on the beach, but you can’t see the beach because of all the huge logs washed up by the surf. However it is only a short walk to the beach. The fog that shows up frequently hides the huge rocks and islands off shore, and when the sun comes out the shapes are revealed.
The only thing that I would like to change is the gravel put down for most tent sites. It makes it very difficult to stake a tent. Most tent-provided stakes bend easily when they hit buried rocks. I would prefer that tent sites be left dirt, mixed with sand for drainage.
