House Rules: Please don’t teach the goats any more bad habits. They’re already convinced they are the camp managers. Most photos are from spring 2026. Keep in mind that the scenery changes with each season. It’s Pacific County so it rains plenty but seasons still change the view. PROPERTY INFO Escape to a peaceful off-grid property on 11 wooded acres in Pacific County, just minutes from Highway 101 near Raymond, Washington. With space for two campsites, you’ll have plenty of room to spread out. You may also ask to pitch your tent in a wooded area instead of the main camping area. Guests are welcome to meet and greet the goats, and you may even enjoy a goat “tour” as they follow you around the woods. An archery target is available as an optional add-on, subject to what the host currently has set up. Please be sure to read the full description, as well as the information attached to the photos, so you know what to expect and can enjoy your camping experience. Our property is mostly wild forest, with two lower field areas, offering a true back-to-nature experience surrounded by towering evergreens, birdsong, and abundant wildlife. We have not built trails, so if you want to reach the creek or explore the forest, be prepared to make your own path. Deer, elk, eagles, owls, and other native species are frequent visitors. A small, shallow creek meanders through the property, adding to the peaceful setting. Late spring through summer there are blackberry vines and other pieces of nature to get through along the creek. The hosts have an RV on the property and are frequently present, going about their day-to-day lives, but are happy to keep to themselves and respect your privacy. Current projects may change, so feel free to reach out and ask what we’re working on. At this time, we are building a flight pen for quail and a natural habitat for our pet rabbit. AREA INFO Our location makes a great basecamp for exploring Southwest Washington. We’re about 30 minutes from the Pacific Ocean and close to Willapa Bay, known for its calm waters, birdwatching, kayaking, and world-renowned shellfish. Nearby South Bend proudly calls itself the Oyster Capital of the World and is known for its exceptional Willapa Bay oysters and fresh local seafood. Nature lovers will appreciate being close to the Willapa National Wildlife Refuge, where thousands of migratory birds, elk, and other wildlife can be seen throughout the year. Whether you’re looking for hiking, fishing, kayaking, wildlife viewing, or simply a quiet place to unplug beneath a canopy of stars, our little forest retreat is the perfect place to slow down and enjoy the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. We are located just 1.7 miles off Highway 101. Raymond, Washington, is approximately 3.3 miles away, or about a seven-minute drive. The Willapa Hills Trail passes through Raymond and includes the Raymond Wildlife-Heritage Sculpture Corridor, a collection of steel sculptures. The town features more than 200 such artworks. The Northwest Carriage Museum houses a collection of historic carriages, buggies, and sleighs, including a Shelburne landau that was used in Gone with the Wind and Jezebel. The Seaport Museum features exhibits and artifacts related to Raymond’s maritime and logging history.

Please read captions on photos and host rules. You can pitch your tent next to precast up tent, or use the one pre set up. Preset up is small, possibly room for 2 people if you really like each other. It’s not a large space. Camp spot is designated space with fire pit, benches and picnic table. (Host has camped and used tent for storing camp items while sleeping on a cot under awning.) You can use our tent AND bring your own for more sleeping space. Dry camp, no hook ups. Shared primitive outdoor shower on site, water filled once a week and dependent on other campers to conserve so there’s water for the next campers. Shared porta potty. Fire pit area when fire season allows per county. Potable water is 3 gallon prefilled water with dispenser, in community area. Generator available on request with fuel fee. **please note; property can get very muddy when it’s raining. Limited cell service in Pacific County. Owls and such can be loud at night. Goats are vocal, and would love to take a walk with you if you arrange it with host. Beware of electric fencing please. Respect resident dogs who will be protective of the livestock by not approaching their fence line without host present.

Both spots have shares primitive outdoor shower on site, water filled once a week and dependent on other campers to conserve so there’s water for the next campers. Shared porta potty. Fire pit area when fire season allows per county. Potable water is 3 gallon prefilled store bought, water with dispenser, in community area. When it’s gone it’s gone until the next weekday we go into town. Generator available on request with fuel fee. **please note; property can get very muddy when it’s raining. Limited cell service in Pacific County. Owls and such can be loud at night. Goats are vocal, but would love to take a goat walk with you if you arrange it with host. Beware of electric fencing please. Respect resident dogs who will be protective of the livestock by not approaching their fence line without host present.

No hookups, no glamour. Just dirt and grass of whatever height it is that season. Not glampsite style but it for sure is a place you can stop driving and sleep. Same description as, campsite for dispersed tent except if you didn’t take the tent out and just slept in whatever motorized vessel you arrived in 😀. Make sure you read all the details and descriptions, our life out here is not everyone’s bottle of beer nor cup of tea.

What a great spot! Adorable goats, cute dogs, flat and soft ground to pitch our tent. There's proper camp benches and picnic tables and fire pits, just like you'd find at a park, and the hosts were friendly and welcoming. Outdoor shower isn't just a hose, it's got a water heater and curtain and some shelves, and clean towels! An unexpected luxury that we really enjoyed mid-trip. I also really appreciate how quickly Debbie responded when we were booking it and throughout our stay. Based on the photos, the only surprises we found when we got there were good ones!

This was exactly what I wanted. I wanted to be around pure Nature. Yes, it is more dispersed style camping, but if you like dispersed camping this is actually quite luxurious with a picnic table and hot shower. The goats are a bonus. Super friendly. Feeding them is a hoot you gotta do. Great spot for animal and nature lovers. Felt completely safe as a single woman. I highly enjoyed Debbie and wish her the best of luck with all her plans. Will be staying again when I’m out there.

Debbie saved me and my friends in a last minute booking as our original plans were canceled due to the fires. First time using the Hipcamp app and wasn't sure what to expect, happy to say the experience was great! The property is spacious and the goats are adorable!
