Our land parallels adjacent to the Mountain Loop Highway and is bordered with evergreen trees. Stay at Creeks Edge (closed-under renovation) to enjoy the beauty of the flowing creek next to the highway with a spacious camp area in the shade. Stay at Morning Medley another spacious camp site tucked away with singing birds and friendly chickens near by that children adore. Take a short walk down the road to a community trail that leads to the South Fork Stillaguamish River (please ask host for details). Swing by the Mountain Loop General store for a snack or the few necessities you may have left behind. The city of Granite Falls is the Gateway to the Mountain Loop which is full of hiking and other outdoor activities. Don't forget to stop by the Falls on your way up the Mountain Loop Highway to enjoy a short walk and experience the beauty. JUST before the first bridge you come to park on either side of the road, then walk down to the Falls through a path on the Left. Enjoy!PLEASE READ FULL CAMPSITE LISTING BEFORE BOOKING. Our camp sites are in a fenced field and although next to the Highway still a beautiful place to enjoy the land with green grass and plenty of evergreens. Walk just down the road to a community trail that leads to the South Fork Stillaguamish River with a refreshing swimming hole. Firepit. It is legal to have a 3’x2’ fire for cooking year round. You will need to bring your own fire wood. There are several locations to buy wood on the way up the Mountain Loop Highway on your way to the site. Just look for signs at the edges of driveways that have wood for sale.

On leash. If pets are obedient and can stay in one area they can be off leash. Use shovel to scoop poop into the woods.

I felt the pictures were quite misleading. It felt like I was staying directly in someone’s backyard, hardly any privacy. You can see the owner house less than 100ft from the site, I just didn’t feel quite comfortable. Disappointed, but the bathroom was quite lovely and the chickens were a cool addition.

Mt Pilchuk Base Camp

We had a great stay at Mountain Meadow at Morning Medley site 2. The river is nearby and our older son had fun playing around in the small rapids. Our 4 year old had a fun running around and playing in the dirt. This was a great base camp for climbing Mt Pilchuk. Additionally, we had some car trouble and Jason and Carrie helped out and got us back on the road.

Loved the campground. We stayed for one night with our campervan while we were on our way to hike up some mountains nearby. Would definitely recommend a stay to others. Good amenities, spacious and great attention to detail.

The tent site was extremely cool! It was next to a fenced off area with a bunch of chickens that were extremely friendly and would walk up to you. The camp site was clean and had a nice wide open space for our dogs to run around in. They also had one of the nicest camping bathrooms I have ever seen! There was also a private pathway and beach area that you could walk down to the stream that is closed off to the public. Would come back here again!!

Large Private Grassy Camping

We had a lovely time at Jason & Carrie’s beautiful and private property! They were such lovely and helpful hosts with excellent communication! They have taken great care to provide a comfortable setup with a great cast iron fire pit, table & chairs with umbrella, hammock, and the best “outhouse” we’ve ever seen which is actually a fully functioning toilet with mirror in a great smelling cedar small hut! We appreciated the soft grass and large space as well as the proximity of their property to town and many lovely hikes in the area. We recommend especially for those with dogs and kids for all the extra roaming and playing space! Very reasonably priced as well and a was a nice, short easy drive for us coming from the Snohomish Mill Creek area, yet still felt like we got away!

Very clean, open space. Carrie and Jason are extremely nice and communicated so well with all of our questions. The river is about a three minute walk which was fun to explore. Our dog had plenty of room to run and fetch and it felt very safe with the fully fenced area. Highly recommend

The site was perfect to get away from the City. Large open field, flat, electric and water connections. You could have several people there with all the space. Carrie was personable and helpful. The hike to the river was super easy - wish there were other nearby hikes. Internet service was minimal at best!

We loved camping on Jason and Carrie's land to test our new camper. Super private and peaceful at their campground. Good water pressure and reliable 20amp power. We had no cell phone service, but the WiFi was good. It was a bit confusing for us to get there, because following Google maps it will take you there, however, it takes you to the incorrect gate. Jason or Carrie will give you good directions but be sure to contact them before losing cell phone service.

Carrie was so sweet and they have a wonderful place. It’s a perfect spot to camp and explore the mountain loop. River access best on weekdays. Unfortunately it was quite packed on Sunday and there were people shooting off a canyon, twice. Totally freaked my dog out. Not their fault but overall I’d say go tooling about on the weekend and come back to the sweet base. We had a lovely Friday sunny afternoon on the river! Thank you Carrie and Jason!

Camping with kids and dog.

We had a great camp experience here with our three boys and dog. Jason and Carrie were very responsive when we had questions/concerns. Initially the power and water weren’t on but they were quick to correct. There is so much space and we enjoyed the large fire pit. We camped here with our travel trailer and had no problems with easily finding a level location. We hiked up to Heather Lake which was right down the road and we also discovered the Robe Canyon Trail also nearby with some great views of the Stillaguamish river with a small waterfall. Would recommend and would camp here again.

Jason and Carrie were very nice and helpful. A great wife open area easy to park trailer and lots of space for dogs very private. Had a few issues running our air conditioner with power, jason says he will figure it out. Otherwise they had power and water hookups. I would buy water for drinking before you get there. We hike mt. Dickerman trail and hidden lakes trail and swam at a great river spot close to camp site. I would recommend this spot to anyone. Thanks.

Jason and Carrie were excellent hosts - very responsive and helpful answering questions before we arrived. The site was well-kept and the facilities were very clean. Lots of space to spread out and a river nearby. The site was well equipped and we had a great stay. Would definitely go back.

The host was very welcoming, the site was clean, and loved the porch swing. The main road is within view and noisy, unfortunately. Also, fenced dogs are noisy at times. Beautiful area though.

This site was great! Spacious for seven people, great for little kids to run around, nice clean tent toilet. Only downside at all is you're close to the road, but it really wasn't bothersome. A lovely spot, and close to lots of nice hiking!

Serene, Convenient & Peaceful

What a lovely spot. Not quite glamping, but not quite rugged outdoors. The perfect balance of the two! Close to the mtn loop general store, so you can grab little things if you forgot them. There’s a little outdoor camping potty tent, kept clean and private. Hosts were so friendly and helpful. Their property touches the main mountain loop road, but it’s not noisy and easy to find a private nook for your tent. The neighborhood is quiet and serene. Having a hose to clean our feet and dishes was great. They accommodated our last minute request for a small fire, and even gave us some wood to make it. Close to Granite Falls, Lake 22, Heather Lake, Big Four Ice Caves, Mt Pilchuck and more. But, we didn’t do any of them because the swimming hole a couple minutes walk down the road is an amazing paradise. Clean, blue, with amazing sand and a rope swing. Private and refreshing. The stars are beautiful at night. Everything is peaceful!

We loved it here!

Super great spot nestled in the mountains. We loved how easy the site was to get to, how clean the bathroom was, the mountain views, beautiful trees, and finding a hidden gem of a waterfall nearby! We would definitely stay again :). Highly recommend!
