Welcome to the Depot Lodge! The train depot dates back to 1909, when Paint Bank was the final stop of the Potts Valley Branch line of the Norfolk & Western Railway. This expansion was part of the mining boom of the early 1900’s. The Depot and our other historic buildings have been renovated and converted into charming lodging, while maintaining much of the original architecture.

Positioned downstream from our Pondersa log cabin is our beautifully and authentically refurbished 1967 Airstream "Land Yacht" Overlander Trailer. The 26ft Airstream is a lodging option all by itself or can offer additional accommodations for your large hunting group or family reunion. A family or group of 4 will sleep comfortably in the Airstream (two single bunks and a fold-down full-size bed), including a bath with a shower, mini-tub, and newly built outdoor shower, TV, phone, your own outdoor seating area under a retractable awning, and two additional Adirondack chairs nestled along the bank of Potts Creek. On cool nights, relax in our Adirondack chairs by the warmth of the fire pit. The Airstream is not availablefrom December through March. Max capacity (4): 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. Note: We provide one complimentarys'moress kit. Additional kits may be purchased at the General Store. Also, there is absolutely no cooking in the Airstream. Creekside Camp

Adjacent to Potts Creek is Creekside Camp. Our tent features a lavishly appointed interior with a king-size bed, gas fireplace, game table & chairs, private bath with teak shower, as well as an outside shower. Satellite TV, radio, and a phone are installed for your entertainment. The 360 wrap-around porch has plenty of sitting areas, with rockers on the porch overlooking Potts Creek, where you can do a little fishing if you’re so inclined. Tables & chairs are provided on the opposite porch so you can enjoy the mountain views. On cool nights, relax in our Adirondack chairs by the warmth of the fire pit. Two hammocks are available for your relaxing, swaying, or napping pleasure. Unfortunately, we do NOT allow any grills (portable or otherwise) at our tent locations, as this causes a fire hazard and also attracts unwanted visits by bears. Our original Glamper at Crump’s Camp! Set against the backdrop of Peter’s Mountain on Route 600 (an old rail bed) our “Glamorous” wall tent. Complete with a fully-appointed private bathroom, this spacious high-ceiling deluxe tent features a king-size bed. Enjoy the large sitting area, gas fireplace, satellite TV& radio, direct phone line, and an additional outdoor shower. Relax on the outdoor deck overlooking corn fields, Potts Mountain or on your own private pond with an additional deck and Adirondack chairs. The private pond is the perfect place to try to catch the Big One! On cool nights, relax in our Adirondack chairs by the warmth of the fire pit. Heron's Nest

Nestled in front of Little Mountain, looking down on the beautiful Potts Creek Valley, is our best-kept secret….Heron’s Nest Glamp! The secluded site overlooks a blue heron nesting pond with an active beaver colony. A nature walk encircles the pond for you to observe the wildlife. Heron’s Nest has all the wonderful features of our other two glamps, which include a King-size bed, en-suite bath, TV, Wi-Fi, outdoor shower, a gas stove for those chilly nights, and a fire pit. An exciting feature of this glamp is the grand teepee, which is connected to the main tent by a swinging bridge. The teepee has two twin beds and other classic amenities – great for kids or another couple to share in your glamping experience. The main tent can be reserved, which accommodates two adults, for the basic price of $249 on weekdays, $279 on weekends. If you would like to reserve the tent and teepee, the price is $279 on weekdays and $309 on weekends. Please note that the Teepee is designed for those who enjoy a more “rustic” glamping experience. It can be impacted by fluctuations in weather conditions, including rain and extreme temperature changes. Glamping is not available from December through March. No pets allowed. The cabin is wonderfully appointed with a living room, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, and laundry room. Both of the porches are fully furnished, offering unbelievable views of the mountains. Along the creek is a fire pit for roasting marshmallows and a hammock for your afternoon nap. The Section Foreman's Cottage

The Section Foreman's Cottage is a beautifully restored 1909 building located right next door to the main lodge. The cottage will sleep up to 4: one queen-size bedroom with a gas fireplace and an additional bedroom which features a king bed that can be reconfigured into twin beds upon request. The cottage is perfect for family groups, offering a living room with a gas fireplace, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, two full bathrooms, mud room, and laundry room. A porch on the front is outfitted with chairs to enjoy the view of the mountains. The back deck offers a dining area as well as gliders to relax with family and friends. The cottage also offers satellite TV and games for your enjoyment. Stroll out back and cross over Pott's Creek on a rustic wooden bridge to an additional sitting area by the creek. No pets allowed.
