It was a wonderful escape from the city! It's a huge property where you can always find something to do. Kevin was spectacular and even shared tons of history on the property and surrounding areas. The animals were a just a bonus!

Stayed with a friend and had a wonderful weekend camping at Sunrise by the Pond. Kevin was a great host and we had the place ourselves. Being on a farm was really cool especially getting some visits from the goats and donkeys during the day. There are a few dogs too and they're all very friendly especially Harley. Fishing and kayaking on the pond was amazing!!! Tent was nice and clean and kept us dry through a couple passing thunderstorms during our stay. Would definitely recommend and already thinking about making another trip ourselves.

What a gem! Kevin was very welcoming and the space was perfect for what we needed. Great place to take your pups for a swim and to explore off leash. We will definitely be back!!

The tent at sunrise by the pond is so cute, the pond (which was HUGE) is gorgeous, the animals were precious (including their dogs oh my gosh what sweethearts!) and Kevin was very kind and accommodating. Canât recommend enough :)

We absolutely loved our stay at Sunrise by the Pond! My 12 year old daughter and I spent plenty of time with the goats, got to take the canoe out on the pond, and slept wonderfully in the tent. We both woke up shocked at how well we slept! The bed was comfortable and the tent stayed shady well into the morning. It was absolutely perfect.

Camping on Kevinâs farm was a dream! The scenery and wildlife were absolutely stunning. Kevin was very friendly and had everything I needed already set up (firewood, water tank, etc.). None of the farm is off limits, which meant for lots of time spent with the animals. Would recommend this site to anyone needed a peaceful, healing retreat away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

My partner and I loved our stay on Kevinâs farm! He was accommodating with our check in and was so accommodating during our stay. We loved getting a tour and seeing all the amazing animas on his farm. We can wait to come back to his campsite!

This was my third time being back! Kevin is amazing :) Even with the weather, we had a great trip! We went around the farm and had fun interacting with the animals, kayaking on the lake, and exploring the trails on the site.
Also the eggs were delicious! Thanks again for having us!

This place was absolutely beautiful. The owner and the property are welcoming in thier respective areas. The pond is beautiful, the animals are beautiful, and the site has more than enough. Bring pillows and blankets, pots and pans, but other than that, you are good to go. Wonderful stay here.

I really enjoyed spending time on Kevin's beautiful land! The property has everything you need to get out of the city and spend time in solitude. Kevin is stellar person and host who genuinely cares about those people he hosts on his property. I highly recommend saying with him.

We had an overall great experience. My family and I very much enjoyed our time there. We had a blast canoeing in the pond, chopping wood, tending to the fire, and walking around the farm. Kevin, the host was a great guy. They run a good camp ground. I would recommend.

Kevin is great, and the whole area is wonderful. The tent is very clean and the campsite is large and accommodating. I was able to kayak on the pond and loved it. I enjoyed spending time with some of the goats and horses, and had an all-around lovely time. I will return!

Kevinâs land was such a gem! The tent was cozy, spotless, and ready to settle right into. There was plenty of firewoodâby the end of the weekend I felt like a true lumberjack. Canoeing on the beautiful pond and watching the farm animals was an absolute dream, and our dog had the best time exploring the property. The site feels wonderfully remote and peaceful, but itâs still close enough to a store if you need to grab any essentials. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a mix of nature, comfort, and charm!

Itâs always appreciated when the host provides necessities, and this site had fire wood, water, trash can, seating, and a lantern. It was lovely to see the animals and be on the beautiful property. Definitely recommend for some tranquility. It was a pleasure to meet the hosts and Iâm so glad our dogs got along well. Truly memorable and special.

Lovely spot and experience for my 4 year old. We felt very safe. The dog was able to roam off leash no problem. The area where you camp is private, large, has a gas grill that worked well (no grill tongs etc) a porta potty (very clean), 5 gallon tub of water, trash can, fire pit with wood, kayaks, canoes and there is enough room to play lawn games. It is private and a bit detached from the main farm but a very short walk (~1 min) up a dirt/gravel road to where the animals are. The farm hands and owner are super friendly and very kind, letting my son help some with the day to day farm work. Well worth the overnight trip and experience for my son. Thank you!

My girlfriend and I absolutely loved it here. The hosts were two of the nicest people Iâve ever met, and gave amazing hospitality. They made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our getaway. The atmosphere here is incredible, and we 100% plan on coming back one day. 10/10 Unforgettable weekend.

Great place to stay! Plenty of privacy, but we really liked having access to potable water and an outdoor shower. We stayed in the peek of summer, but there was plenty of shade. Kevin provided plenty of free firewood, and chairs to sit in. We also enjoyed the kayaks and canoes that were available. Lastly all of the farm animals were so sweet!

We had a terrific time camping on Kevin's farm. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a quiet weekend surrounded by nature. Despite visiting in the heat of summer, there was plenty of shade at both the gathering area by the pond and at the tent, which was very cool and comfortable. Kevin and his family are terrific hosts, and we enjoyed the chance to walk their working farm and see a variety of animals. Our hosts thought of everything and were super accessible. And you definitely won't run out of firewood! We definitely look forward to returning.

Otherâs reviews of the stay are spot on! Spacious tent, we added an additional queen size raised camp bed with ease. Shower is hot and close to site and port-a-john clean and closer to the site. Thereâs a gas station with a convenience market less than a mile from the site for last minute supplies.
We took the kayaks out for an afternoon trip around the pond and got to visit a few farm animals. There are trails to hike right from the camp site.
Malinda and Kevin were responsive to our request and really enjoyed getting to meet them. Hope to stay here again in the future!

This was our second time staying at sunrise by the pond. We always enjoy our visit! Everything is always clean and well kept. The kids absolutely loved the animals and going out onto the water! The hosts are responsive and even provided us with a color packet for the fire! We will be back for another visit!

This place is an excellent get away from the city. The tent is comfortable. There are kayaks and canoes for exploring the pond. This place is so peaceful. If fresh air and quite are what you need this place is excellent. Kevin is very friendly and responsive. He made sure we were well supplied with firewood and fresh water. There is a portapotty a short walk from the tent and it is kept very clean. Exploring the farm and meeting the animals was very fun. Our dog had a fun time being off leash and exploring around our little camp.
