Cool quiet place near the river

Really cool little cabin! I love the space and the privacy. My son had a great time playing on the rocks and near the water. We saw a lizard and a snake! Campfires at night were great! This is a really nice quiet place to spend a weekend. Thanks so much!

It was awesome right by the water not for someone who can’t climb steps, hiked to hector falls and ate at blue jay inn…. Ben was a awesome host we were early and he just let us hang out until he was done had a fire going for us and the beds are comfortable and the sound of the creek at night is awesome.. We will be back!!!

Our new favorite Hipcamp for sure! The property is beautiful & the cabin is so cozy. We loved being able to hear the water all night from the bedroom window. Ben was a great host & showed us everything we needed to know upon arrival. We can’t wait to come back when the weather warms up!

ANF rustic cabin get away

Ben was very helpful and informative. Had a fire going when we got there and showed us around. He left us a bottle of wine to enjoy as well. The cabin is simple and well stocked. Tons of outdoor activities to partake in. Very cozy place set away from all the hustle of daily life. Be mindful of water usage and be sure to take your trash with you. Recommend for simple couples get away or fishing breakaway.

Great cabin , has everything you need for a weekend getaway bring food , boots to hike , poles to fish and clothes to wear. It was 17 degrees outside and I had zero concerns about being cold inside. Ben was an awesome host very informative if any questions arose. We will definitely be back during fishing season.

Ben was absolutely great, was there when we showed up to show us around, had a fire going outside, left us a bottle of wine and decorations for the new years! Was very cozy in the snow, super beautiful area, our favorite hike is right down the road in ministers creek. Definitely recommend.

Awesome spot. Cozy when it was cold, lots of great hiking and though I wasn’t able to, it looked like a great place to fish right liaise the cabin. Ben was a great host. Attentive and helpful.

Get lost in the stars

What a beautiful cabin with everything you could ever need. Bring yourself and friends, and some clothes and food to cook. That’s about all you need. Wood provided for great fires, hear the running tionesta creek while you sip your coffee and prepare to disconnect from life!!!! Also on clear nights, stars as far as you can see!! Ben was a great host

We had a vey nice time! The cabin had all of amenities needed for a stay and plenty of privacy and beautiful views. Ben was very accommodating and checked in with us to make we had everything. We would recommend his camp to friends and family.

Peaceful and accommodating
Incredible property. The sounds of the creek were so calming to listen to throughout our stay. Views of the valley were beautiful in the fall as well. The access to the creek was perfect for swimming or kayaking. Only a 8 minute drive down the road for one of the best hikes in all of ANF (minister creek trail). Ben was so down to earth when we arrived and he helped to familiarize us with the cabin. It was equipped with everything we could have possibly needed for a camping trip. Highly recommend - will be back!

Ben's cabin was well equipped and well lit inside and out. Very cozy and welcoming. The backyard felt very private and the sound of the creek was very tranquil.
We had a wonderful weekend cabin camping with the family and would absolutely recommend and go back ourselves in the future.
Close to lots of hiking and outdoor activities.
Good movie selection for the family on rainy days.

Place is sweet. Ben and his mom are awesome. Fly fished the river on a warm fall day and had a campfire that night. Slept warm and cozy. Thanks for the stay.

Perfect weekend retreat, beautiful views. Cabin has all the necessities for a comfortable stay. The pups enjoyed exploring the creekside. We sat our folding chairs right in the creek and enjoyed the scenic views from all around. I also enjoyed the privacy the area offers. Thank you Ben for offering a dog friendly cabin experience!

Great getaway!

My husband and I got to celebrate our 2nd Anniversary along with our dog Boomer at this wonderful cabin. The Nest is small but had everything we could have needed for a great getaway. The view and location alone make it worth the trip. Lots do do including creek walks, hiking at ministers creek, and shopping at Tall Oaks gift shop.

Loved it
Cabin very private which was great. No cell service so nobody on the outside world could bother us and interfere with our weekend. The stream right there was great. Dogs really loved that part. Cabin felt very much like home and had the couple items we forgot. Can’t wait to visit again. Hosts were amazing as well and very easy to communicate with and were able to accommodate our needs for arrival time. Overall, great memory n trip n didn’t break the bank.

This little cabin was fantastic! The perfect size for me, my husband, and dog. Our favorite part was walking in the river searching for crawfish and sitting on big rocks with our dog off leash. The power went out from a storm, but there were plenty of candles and a few board games available. Definitely planning on going back in the future and spending an extra night!

This was an awesome, private place to spend a weekend. The host, Ben was amazing and didn't bother us all weekend. Beds were comfy and there was a lot of kitchen supplies available to use. I would absolutely spend the weekend again! Highly recommend.

Place to truly unplug and get away!

Beautiful piece of the woods…very private with own access to the water. 2 kayaks provided which is awesome. Great place to truely get away from it all. Was met upon arrival by the sweetest lady and adorable granddaughter who gave us the run down of the place which was very helpful. Would definitely stay again!

The Nest
The Nest is a beautiful, private, peaceful, getaway spot! Pack your personal items and food. Grab your dogs and leave all the extras at home. You won't need anything once you arrive at the Nest. Beds made up with clean linens just before we arrived. Cabin was clean and inviting! Cooking supplies galore! DVDs and games for rainy days. Plenty of firewood! We loved the sound of the water in the creek and the sound of the rain on the roof! Thank you Ben for sharing! We loved staying and can't wait to come back!

Weekend Getaway.
My girlfriend and I loved staying at The Nest for the weekend! The river which is viewable from the deck creates an amazing atmosphere promoting the tranquility and beautifulness that is that area.
Ben was an amazing host and met us there to show us how everything worked, and then left us for our own devices. He had the cabin stocked with your normal needs and expectations of a place you'd stay at and accommodated us fully.
The Tionesta creek was pretty low, so we weren't able to kayak it but behind the cabin there is still a good little swimming hole to cool off in (about 4 foot deep) and we were able to tie off in a tube and just float despite it being low.

Good Little Cabin, Great Creek Acce

The cabin was very cute and sits down in the woods off the road with no visible neighbors. It was very nice to have running water, hot showers and a flush toilet with kids in 90° heat and humidity. The cabin did get hot and sweaty during the day, but we stayed mostly outside, and at night the fans in the cabin helped us stay cool enough to sleep. The deck and swing seat are my favorite parts, and we enjoyed a couple fires as ample firewood was provided. The cabin had a lot of food and toiletries items inside. I would caution any parents of young children that the property is hilly and there are a couple unsteady handrails and steps, so just be careful. The access to the creek also is somewhat steep for younger kids. Would stay again, I think fall would be wonderful.
