Our property was once an overgrown field that in the past was strip mined for coal. This area was purchased by a local church congregation and has been transformed into a fun, peaceful picnic/recreation area. We enjoy using this area for picnics, birthday/graduation parties, family reunions and other fun, meaningful events. We have even had a few weddings here. Recently we decided that we want to give more people the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful, serene area. We hope you choose to come and relax and enjoy a "Slice of Solitude" Learn more about this land: Rustic camping area not far from town. We have a sand volleyball court, horseshoe pits, children's playground, tether ball, corn hole. A walking trail, running water, electricity ( we do now have one 30 amp outlet with more to be established in the future), a fire pit, and a few other options. A nice quiet area.

Great weekend!

We had a great time spending the weekend here! Simple and easy. Dogs were able to run around and we all really enjoyed it.

Jackpot Site! ⛺

Beautiful property, the pictures do not do it justice! Absolutely wonderful host with great communication. There was so many yard games and toys for the kids.... Endless activities to do plus gorgeous trails to explore! We are looking forward to returning soon! 10 out of 10! Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us!

Peaceful, Grassy, Secluded Hilltop

This place was absolutely beautiful, and as it is still being developed, we had it to ourselves. Richard was a superlative host, and I hope to have occasion to visit again on future travels. My only regret is that once the secret of this place gets out, we might not be able to get a reservation there!

Private GIANT platau on top of a mountain. With 360 mountain views. ALOT of rabbits and swllows. Perfect place to lay out a blanket and look at the stars. Water & electric hook up. Host provides alot of options for out door games. 1.2 mile walk into a cute old town. 10 min drive to historic Johnstown.

Secluded and awesome

Great camping experience. Massive field and huge pavilion all to ourselves. Host checked in on us to see if we needed anything. Super friendly and helpful. Firewood provided. We will definitely visit again.

Perfect spot for a weekend of paddling rivers in the area. Great views and fantastic star gazing on a clear night.
