Our piece of heaven… We have 200 acres of timber cozied up to Siltcoos Lake. Siltcoos Lake is approximately 3500 acres and warm enough to swim in! Your campsite is 10 private acres surrounded by the rest of our 200 acres. You are welcome to hike, bike, forage, and enjoy the whole 200 acre forest. Your 10 acre campsite is private for you and your guests. So let your pets off the leash, laugh, play music, have fun! Your site comes with a propane bbq grill(bring your own propane or rent a bottle from us), fire pit, patio set, table and chairs. There is plenty of flat, open area to maneuver several RVs and place tents. It is open and grassy. Our driveway is long and takes you to peaceful privacy. Our driveway is part gravel and partly dirt that we grade and trim as needed. You can place your kayaks and small boats into the lake at our property. There are 2 other ramps for larger boats elsewhere. RVs, tents, boats, bicycles, horses and pets welcome. There are many unimproved roads to access our creeks, springs, ponds and lake or enjoy the deer paths. Our property has elderberry, blackberry, huckleberry, mulberry, thimbleberry, salmonberry, currants… mushrooms, many wild edible plants and wild life! Siltcoos Lake has 2 boat ramps, 1 restaurant, 1 bar, 1 store, and boat rentals. The restaurant/bar/store (Darlings) will deliver, by boat, to your campsite for $10 !!! $20 minimum as of 2022. Or drive/boat over to Darlings for their well known friendly atmosphere and great food served inside or on their heated deck! Sorry no ATV use on property at this time. For large events some extra arrangements may be possible, just ask. We look forward to sharing our piece of our heaven with you. If you are looking for catering, I know of 2 places that serve amazing food and will cater food, tables and chairs…Our piece of heaven… This campsite is 10 private acres surrounded by the rest of our treed, 200 acres. You are welcome to hike, bike,, and enjoy the whole 200 acre forest. Your 10 acre campsite is private for you and your guests. There is plenty of flat, open area to maneuver several RVs and place tents right next to the lake. Our driveway is about 3/4 of a mile to get you into this peaceful, privacy. The road to our place is blacktop, our driveway is part gravel and part dirt so please drive very slow. Come, let your pets off the leash, laugh, play music, have fun! Your site comes with a propane bbq grill, fire pit, patio set, picnic table, chairs, some inflatables, life jackets, portable toilet with weekly cleaning, and pit toilet. Guests must bring their own propane or rent a tank from us. The lake front: It is a one step down to the lake and then it has a gradual slope for about 75 feet, then drops into deeper water. There is a large area to swim without much seaweed. The water is nice and warm to swim in. We are just passed where the coast fog comes in, so it stays warmer longer most days. The whole camping area is south facing, so bring sun screen. There are tons of trees surrounding the cleared area (camping area), with 2 large trees by the picnic area for a little shade. RVs, tents, boats, bicycles, horses and pets welcome. This would be a very fun place to ride a horse. Only weed free hay allowed please. We have many unimproved roads to access our creeks, springs, ponds and lake or enjoy the deer paths. The road to the property is paved. Our long driveway is partly graveled and partly dirt. It can be quite dusty at the end of the summer. Not dusty at camp. We built the road wide and keep it trimmed, so no pin striping! The narrowest spot is approximately 20 feet wide. Seldom does it rain enough during our 3 month season to be an issue. If it does rain, 4 wheel drive is better. We will refund if the road is impassible.

Great visit to Siltcoos Lake!

Janellen and Allen were great hosts! The unexpected wet weather made the road to the main site impassable so they set me up on another site on the lake, they were very helpful and accommodating! Plus the site and the lake were gorgeous, perfect to relax and get some lake time!

Gem to keep for myself

This place is an absolute gem. I won’t go on too much about it only because I don’t want to keep it for myself. Also, Janellie was a fabulous host. Super responsive, had everything setup and read for us, checked us in but didn’t see them (or anyone!) on the 200 acres abutting the lake!

The campsite was quiet and peaceful. We loved being right on the lake to swim, fish, and kayak. We did see what looked like bear scat on the way in so be sure to follow bear precautions if you are tent camping.

Huge slice of Heaven!! This was the best camp experience yet for our annual family reunion. The site was huge, for both our RV’s, 3 tents & still had so much room. We were right on the lake with easy access and a very smooth entry/exit for our kayaks & tubes. They were SO thoughtful bringing sand down for the kids, flowers and candles on the picnic table for our arrival with lots of extras to make our experience enjoyable. Janellen was wonderful at communicating and such a gracious host. The lake was smooth and warm made for wonderful outings on it. I can’t express enough how glorious their place is and will be back hopefully for years to come!

Simply a beautiful location on the water! I wish there was a dock, but you can still just walk right into the lake. The property is peaceful and private. Plenty of space for tents and rigs. Perfect for our large family. Host is phenomenal and attentive. This was our second stay and we hope to return again.

A gem on the lake!

This spot is amazing! Private, quiet, beautiful lakeside setting. Janellen and Allen were great hosts. Shared lots of great info and then left us to it. The site feels very remote but is only about 10 minutes from town, if you can tear yourself away from the lake. We absolutely loved it and will be back for sure!

Janellen’s property was exactly what we were looking for—a private dog-friendly place where we could meet up with my daughter and her partner. The dogs were in heaven running free and chasing tennis balls in the lake. We loved the big campfire, the views of the lake and being awakened by a multitude of bird songs in the morning. A wonderful alternative to a traditional campground.

We love the privacy that this lakefront gem offers. It got pretty sunny during the day but there’s a big tree as well as a hammock that offer lots of shade,. We explored the lake with the provided kayak (there are also a couple inflatables). We were unable to have a campfire in the nice fire pit due to fire restrictions, but used the included propane fire pit, which made it not so bad. There are two available tables (a picnic table and one with an umbrella) in addition to a propane grill. It was a lovely stay for both us and our dogs. We would absolutely recommend it.

We loved camping here! Five families with 16 people and 8 dogs, and we were comfortably spaced with plenty of room for the pup pack and kids to run amok. The lake was awesome! We didn’t spend much time exploring the rest of the property because we spent so much time in the water and just relaxing. We hope to make it back here next year.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Janellen’s land. It was the perfect space for our wedding/camping weekend! Janellen and her partner were such wonderful hosts! They made sure we had everything we needed. There was plenty of space for our large party to spread out and tent camp. We enjoyed swimming in the lake, playing lawn games and relaxing by the fire pit. The beautiful scenery made for the perfect backdrop for our wedding ceremony too! We’ll definitely be back next year!!

Can't wait to do it again next year

This camp was so much fun! Even better than we could have hoped for. We had a group of 14 adults and 5 dogs and there was plenty of space for everyone to run around and have a great time. The lake is huge with almost no one on it and we were able to SUP and Kayak to our hearts content. Heads up: There is a big shade tree on one end of the camp so we were able to sit over there during the heat of the day but bringing canopies is highly recommended. We also did not have a fire as the area was pretty dry and there was some wind so instead we just brought our propane fire pit and some bug eyes for heat at night. The stars were so amazing that we actually enjoyed not having the light pollution of the fire so it turned out to be a win!

We loved camping on the Lakeside Meadow! Nice flat areas to pitch a tent. Easily slide into the lake right from your secluded campsite with your favorite water toy. Enjoy the fire pit and gas grill for your s’mores and culinary delights and watch the sky display a beautiful star show.

This is an absolute gem of a spot. Right on the lake with easy access. Complete privacy, great fire pit, and the lake is amazing. It’s quiet, calm and peaceful. I would rate this place an 11/10 and the hosts were incredibly pleasant as well.

Perfect weekend getaway

My friends and I spent a long weekend on Janellen’s land camping right by the lake and it was just spectacular. We had cookouts, used the fire pit, took little day trips out in our kayaks, and just enjoyed being in the outdoors away from it all. The space was great for camping and hanging out, with lots of room to spread out. Also the hosts were so hospitable— meeting us at the gate that first day to help us find our way down, and passing along detailed directions we could send to the other campers arriving after us. A fantastic experience and we would love to camp there again another summer.

Absolutely gorgeous campsite! The views were amazing! The hosts were kind and very helpful in terms of getting us to the right location. So much room for all activities for us and the puppies! Definitely the best Hipcamp we’ve been to thus far. Thank you again to the hosts!!! We are definitely coming back.
