5 acres of woods with easy access to a major thoroughfare. In between Ithaca and Trumansburg is a place of peace and tranquility. Camp SkyTent has 3 SkyTents or “tree tents” for rent. Campers or glampers pull up on site and then walk to their tent. There’s a porta potty and plenty of space to roam around. Each site has a space for camp fires and comes with two chairs. Ideal for a date night or a stop over or just hanging out. Guests are encouraged to bring their own linens, sleeping bags, etc.. We have hung the tents so you can drive in, carry your gear to your site and build a fire and then have a magical night and then drive off. No bedding is provided—-bring your own sleeping bags and pillows. We’re open typically from April until late October.Escape into the woods at Camp SkyTent, a small glamping retreat in New York’s Finger Lakes, just minutes from Trumansburg, Taughannock Falls, and Ithaca. We currently offer four private furnished tent sites: * TreeTopper * StarGazer * Fern Gully * Willow Each site comfortably sleeps two guests and includes a fire pit, Adirondack chairs, and a peaceful wooded setting perfect for relaxing beneath the stars. Guests park in our designated parking area before taking a scenic 3–7 minute walk along maintained trails to their campsite. A clean outhouse is available for all campers. Choose your favorite site, select your dates, and send us your request—we’ll get back to you as soon as possible. We look forward to hosting your Finger Lakes adventure! This was such a cool set up! Will definitely try to book again if I’m back up near there! The tent’s not insulated so pack accordingly and I’m happy we brought our sleeping pads because the bottom of the tent can get pretty cold since it’s not on the ground. Overall great experience!

Gorgeous campground! The directions were great. We appreciated the tidy outhouse. The tents were in great condition, and spaced far enough apart that there was privacy between sites. We brought our five year old, and it was an excellent first camping trip! We did bring a small tent for one of our group that is a little nervous of heights, but there were carts provided so it was no problem at all loading in or out. There was some poison ivy off the trials, but the trails, tent areas, and fire pit areas were all clear of it (a big detail for us as my husband is very allergic). It was so relaxing watching the bats in the evening and listening to the goldfinch in the morning. We appreciate how communicative the hosts were and will definitely be back again!

Such a fun experience, tent off the ground we stayed in the tree topper and it eas so cool we checked out the other sites as well, they also seemed great each skytent had their own fire pit with wood and chairs. Only thing we needed was blankets that was plus only thing we didnt know before going it we would sleep apart like a hammock almost no big deal but I would have packed us each our own sleeping bag! Definitely would recommend! Nice a quiet yet still have cell service loved it!!
