5 acres bordered by pecan trees. Level area, cement slab, large trees on site. We have recently added gravel to the parking area. Water, septic, electricity provided. NO BATHROOM FACILITIES available, please bring your own if car camping. No human waste allowed in site trash bin. I do have septic you can connect to your RV. Quiet rural area NW of Roswell, 6 miles from downtown where you can explore alien museums and attractions. Bottomless lakes state park and Bitter Lake National Wildlife Refuge nearby. 70 miles from Ruidoso with hiking, bike and equestrian trails, skiing, shopping, fishing. Haystack mountain recreation area, Pecos river, rockhounding sites in vicinity. White Sands, Carlsbad Caverns, Valley of Fires a short drive away.5 acres bordered by pecan trees. 6 miles from downtown Roswell. Park your camper/RV on level grass or cement slab or pitch a tent under the trees. NOTE: NO BATHROOM FACILITIES on site. Please bring your own if tent camping. I do have septic you can connect to your RV. Fire pit and chairs provided for a relaxing evening outdoors. Green lawn and big shady trees provide a desert oasis. Room for horses and large, safe panel pen with shade available. Spend the day exploring local alien attractions and historical museums, or enjoying the sun and the water at Bottomless Lake State Park. Desert Oasis

We had such a lovely time at Martha’s! It was perfect for our truck camper, and there was plenty of space. It’s easy to hook up to the sites utilities, and we loved sitting in the grass, listening to the birds chirp and sing. It truly felt like a little desert oasis and we had a great day!

Desert Rose was everything it promised and more! This was our first RV trip which carried a lot of first time nerves and when we got settled at Desert Rose I could feel the tensions melting away. The hook ups were great, the space is beautiful, there was grass our dogs loved, the picnic table was the perfect setting to have dinner, and chairs on the cement slab watching the sun set and the stars come out was the perfect end to the night. I would stay here again with no hesitation. Thanks Martha for a great stay.

Beautiful and private.

Beautiful and private. This was our first HipCamp experience and it couldn’t have been any better. Well thought out campsite with all the amenities. The night sky opens up to a multitude of stars. My favorite part was the tree swing in the shade while drinking my coffee.

This was an excellent place! Easy to find, easy to check in and very welcoming! Quaint, quiet, all utilities worked and we even bought eggs for breakfast! Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again!

This site is lovely! It really is like a little oasis in the desert. We are especially grateful that the grass and roadway were free of spiky plants, because it gave us an ouch-free place to relax and walk the dogs. If we end up in the area again, we’ll definitely ask to stay here again! FYI - All of the parts of the full hook-up are pretty close to each other, but not side by side. We parked close to the electric and our water hose reached. We had to pull the camper forward 7-10 feet for our drainage hose to reach the dump station, but that was not a problem for us.

Our fave part during Roswell visit

We loved this site. We were the only ones so us showing up later at night than expected worked out. Easy to get to even in the dark and the hooks up were right there. Plenty of space for the kids to run around in the morning and loved that our dog could be out and about. Perfect fire pit and the added option to purchase eggs was a great touch. We would definitely stay here.

Wish I had more time there!

We just needed an overnight and I wish we could have stayed longer. This is such a lovely spot. It is private with a picnic table and shade trees. Plus the row pecan trees that should be beautiful in the spring. I could not have asked for a better place and if traveling through Roswell it will be first on my list to check for availability.

Very secluded, I loved how it's seems you are the only one there. Just a 15 minute drive from downtown Roswell. You have to get the farm fresh eggs. If I find myself in Roswell again. We'll stay here again in a heartbeat

Perfect place to stay.

This was the perfect spot to spend a couple of days on our way through Roswell. The spot is quiet and well maintained. It has everything you need. My dog loved being able to play ball after spending so much time in the truck. Communication was great.

This is one of our top five favorite Hip Camp spots so far. It’s very private and quiet and there’s water, septic, and power as well as a nice cement pad to walk out on when we open the door of our RV. We liked this place so much we extended our stay…twice.

This must be the spot!

Stayed here 1 night on my way through Roswell. It appeared to be a horse pasture but offered more than any pasture I’ve stayed at before. Completely fenced in, Concrete pad, picnic table, fire pit, garbage cans, electrical that worked awesome. Other hook ups were clearly marked to make it easy for a night time arrival and departure. The signage was also just cute and cool. It’s secluded, private and her directions and signs that guided us in were perfect!!!! It’s only 6 miles out of downtown and 3 miles from a Walmart. I will absolutely be back

We had a great time during our trip to Martha’s land! We are new to camping so it was very nice and convenient to have all the hook ups available. We travel with our dog and really enjoyed being able to let him run around off leash! The set up with the picnic table, fire pit, and smaller touches was really appreciated. There were other houses/larger road nearby but I appreciated not feeling like I was in the middle of nowhere while also having the privacy and space the land offered!

Our Second Visit!

We loved this land! It was lovely this time of year, with the cool breeze, the still quietness and the wonderful addition of the swing bench! The land was nice and clean, like the last time we visited. In addition, we appreciated that the ground was nicely leveled and that the outlets were clearly labeled. We hope to visit the place next time we visit Roswell! 🛸

My husband and I and our two dogs had a great stay! It was so nice to let the dogs have some space to run in between long days of driving. The space is well thought out and maintained. The connections for our RV were well placed, marked, and worked well. Martha is a good, quick communicator, but we also enjoyed being able to easily let ourselves in and out of the space on our own.
