Very Intriguing
We really looked forward to our stay on the ranch. Unfortunately, after traveling from afar and being sent on a wild goose chase by mapping systems printed before our trip and Siri when in the general area, our attempt to locate it was unsuccessful. We should have verified directions with Luke before departing home. We did call when in the area, but lack of service hindered two-way communication. This was our very first Hip Camp reservation, and based on reviews, we were highly intrigued. We felt bad for not finding it. The general area is a beautiful part of Nebraska. Just make sure to verify driving directions with Luke prior to departing home.

We had an incredible stay at Potter’s!!! Stayed here 1 night in our way across the Midwest to the RMNP. Wish we had more time. 10/10 recommend!!
Pulled our 30ft motorhome into a spot without any difficulty, despite getting some rain. Gravels are in great shape, field drives are as well.
We loved all the little touches…great balance between rustic and amenities. (WiFi worked perfectly, and a bonus to plug in). So much open space to play baseball and let our pup roam free.
Potters is a beautiful & quiet gem just off I—80. We’ll be back!!!

It was a dark and stormy night. No really. It was. Super easy place. Tucked away and quiet. Pulled in set up and camped. Good amenities it was a short overnight for us but hope to be back again.

The place was fantastic. Peace and quiet. Beautiful setting. I was a little confused as to where to park the trailer, but in that I was the only one there I didn't worry about it much. As a senior with most of my friends also senior, I'm not sure if they would like it. There is one couple that would possibly be interested. I will be showing them a picture. It is a great place for those who enjoy hiking and mountain biking. Reservation and correspondence was terrific.

Easy site to find. It was a perfect spot for us on our way to CO, not too far off the interstate but far enough to find some peace and quiet. I would say if you go for a walk on the trails, check for ticks afterwards. Took 15 off our dog ina 20mn walk but that’s everywhere this time of yr and we had none at the campsite. Thank-you for sharing your property with us, we really appreciate it!

Potter's pastures is a great camping spot. The host has provided nicely maintained sites with water, electricity and WiFi. The miles of bike trails are mapped and marked. We hiked them. So fun! I was surprised to experience rolling hills in Nebraska.
The road in was dirt for several miles, but in pretty good shape.

Love love loved Luke’s setup! It’s a beautiful area, nice spots, and quiet. As far as the drive goes, if you’ve done dirt/gravel roads before, these are easy. Mostly flat with minimal hills/curves, wide, and well paved.

Booked as a last minute stop for the night on a cross country road trip and couldn’t have been happier with it. The field was not bumpy, the portos are super close (and not gross!), there’s WiFi so being completely out of service isn’t too much of a concern, and I’m sure someone staying a little longer would really appreciate the adorable little fire area with firewood. It’s long long gravel roads to get in, but that’s how you know you’re somewhere good, right?

This is a fantastic site! It is situated well past a sign saying, “Pavement Ends Ahead.” Always a good sign to me. The entire campground is mowed and well-maintained. I was there in the off-season (late March) so there was only one our couple there in an Rv. My dog was free to roam and sniff to her heart’s desire. Nice fire pits with rustic seating provided and some had grills that could be used for cooking. There were string lights, a large fire pit and pergola as part of a common social area. And the place had a wonderful amount of free firewood-as long as there isn’t a fire ban. HipCamp sent me a message that that was going to be the case during my stay. Thanks Hipcamp! This is a place that goes into the List named “Go Back Here! 👍🏻🐕❤️

A beautiful camping spot. The camping area is well maintained. There are fire pits and free wood. There was only one other couple there on the night I stayed so it was very quiet and secluded. I had my dog with me and she was able to roam free and steal the toys from the other two dogs the other couple had. Great directions to the site. Not too far of the interstate but far enough that there was no road noise. As I drove down the road toward the campground, I saw one of my favorite signs: Pavement ends ahead. It was a well-maintained gravel road but it let me know I was starting to get away from it all.

Perfect Potter Pasture Getaway

Amazing place for a Hipcamp. The dirt road going out to the pasture had us a little worried thinking oh my goodness what did we get ourselves into but once we pulled in and saw the beauty and the openness of the site we were very impressed. Communication and instructions were clear and concise. Nice modern hook ups clean area fresh air. What more could you ask for I would recommend and will be back.

A quick stay but what an awesome spot. Lucked out with a beautiful clear night, slept under stars and moon. Very clean sites, and wifi was helpful as no service for Verizon. Wish I had more time (and my mtb). The communal fire pit and hang out area would be great in season too. Will definitely stay again if travels take me through the area!

I stayed for a quick one night on my way to Denver. The area was clean, quiet and comfortable. I did lose service about 3-5 miles away from the site. But it is certainly a place I would go back to and stay for a couple of day.

Heaven!! If you love quiet, rural beauty and spectacular hiking this is the place for you! Pups and I enjoyed a few days here in our way from CA back east, loved it so much I added an extra day to our stay, just so we could hike more. Luke clearly lives his property, it is exceedingly well maintained. Out of five stars I give Potter's Pasture a hundred!!

What a PERFECT stay! I'm a pro dog trainer who is on the road ALOT with my four four-leggeds. We needed a layover between Arizona and Wisconsin on our way back from CA. Potter's Pasture literally could not have been a better fit for us. Quiet, beautiful and over 36 miles of hike/biking trails right outside the door! Pups and I were in heaven! Luke couldn't have been a more gracious host and the love he has for his place shines through in every detail. Neat, well-cared for, just delightful. We will for sure return when we head west again in 2025. I give it a million out of 5 stars. 😁🌟

We loved tent camping on Luke’s property! We stayed on our way traveling to South Dakota and was a perfect spot. Spacious, quiet, friendly, and good directions provided. We enjoyed the access to water and the port-a-potty was clean. Just a heads up to fellow travelers if you arrive late in the evening be on the look out for pyrenees patrolling the roads. Thanks again and would stay again. I have ATnT coverage and didn’t have service but the starlink internet was helpful!

Beautiful rolling hills and shade trees, nice and quiet. Just a caution that not every site has water, we were one of the last to arrive and had no water hookup. However, the camp host and neighboring camper offered to let us use theirs, but we ended up not needing it after all. Little black bugs are pretty bad until the sun goes down (bug spray has NO affect on them), then it was quite pleasant. Fire pit is at the back end of the row of campers and is communal. It felt like it was more for the last camper in the row, rather than for all. There was a fire ban when we were there due to the extremely dry conditions, so for us it didn’t matter. Host very kind and helpful! WIFI is available which you’ll need because there is no cell service (Verizon). We’d stay again if ever thru this way, would love to try out some of the trails!

We stopped here on a road trip from OH to OR. We didn’t get to the site until after dark, which made things a little eerie. The cows around the site are nice to sleep to. Once we woke up, we got to see the site a little more and realized it was not as scary as we thought and had some good land. Only suggestion would be to have some lights on the property :)

We had a great time. We would appreciate maybe having a hand sanatizer in the porta pots of some sort. If there could have been pick nick tables at each spot that would have been also a plus. Luke was very personalable which was great. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to our friends and family.

If you’re seeking quiet and private tent or rv camping. I’d recommend, my wife and I took our 3 kids and they loved it. Very well maintained. Sites are covered with shade trees and the firewood is free! Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area!

The area was in a peaceful hideaway off the major highway. The serene quietness definitely made sleepng there an excellent time. The land itself has lots of trails to explore. We only went up one to see the view of the land from atop the hill, great view might I add. Overall, camping there was easy. It was convenient. And most importantly the quality of care for the campsite and us as visitors was prestine. Would definitely camp again.
