Big rig-friendly
Spacious, level camping well-suited for travel trailers over 40 ft long.
We are located NW of Kearney in a rural setting. There are neighbors around us but not too close. Being this close to a town, there are many activities and places to go. A few miles to the West of us is Cottonmill Park which has a good sized lake and hiking trails. Within an hours drive there are fishing/boating and recreational lakes. The great Sandhills of Nebraska are just a little over an hour North to get to. Pioneer Village is South about an hour and the Hastings museum is about the same distance only a little East and South.The parking spot is not suitable for tents as it is gravel and there are no bathrooms. It is a lovely spot for campers of any size, plus the towing vehicle. Motor homes (coaches) fit nicely and it’s an easy access to park. Our driveway is extra wide for turning in and out. Kearney is only a few miles away for shopping, eating, entertainment and discovery.

Great place to spend the night. Loved the neighborhood. Nice and quiet. Hosts were very good.

Great location. Beautiful. Very kind hosts. Probably the only suggestion we would make would be to turn the light off on the big barn near where we camped overnight. We will be back if we come this way again.

We were delayed, and never made it to Snowside. Tho I didn't notify Lorna until the next day, she didn't charge us for the night. I am grateful.

A nice place to stay!
This was a nice place to stay overnight on my trip across the country. It was quiet, easy to get into and had water and electric hookups. Even though it was in close proximity to their house, a row of lush trees made it feel private. They were so nice and checked in on me to make sure I had everything I needed. Added bonus... The sunset was beautiful across the Nebraska skies.

Great spot with great owners!
Great place to stop for the night! Garland and Lorna were very nice and their property was beautiful! We had some trouble finding their house and they drove down the street to find us! Great level gravel spot next to their shop with large trees between you and their house. Perfect spot to stop for the night on our road trip!

A good place to camp for a couple nights. Lots of room to maneuver into place. Host responds quickly to any questions.
