Earn this patch by being the first to spend a night outside at a new Hipcamp.

I have 1 3/4 acres on a private lake. Enjoy the eagles, osprey, ducks, loons, and deer while you experience a part of Montana! This is a small quiet community nestled at the base of the Cabinet Wilderness. There is a fire pit (when fires are allowed), firewood, water, 50 amp hookup and if you want to try your luck there are bass and perch in the lake. This site will not accommodate a large 5th wheel or toy hauler. Just minutes away from the famous “Bull Lake” where there is swimming, boating and area class fishing. If you prefer to explore the “Yaak”, maybe head up to the “Mercantile” for one of their famous burgers and hand cut fries. You can sit on their deck and eat watching the “Yaak River”. My dog Gus and cat Tucker might come and say hi to you so if you do not like dawgs or cats then this is probably not the place for you. Also, there is a chicken coop about 50 feet from where you would park your rig. It is cleaned regularly!Back your smaller RV into a site with lake views, use the fire pit down at the lake, watch the eagles sore overhead searching for food in this quiet neighborhood. You will be close to Bull Lake, the Kootenai River, the Cabinet Wilderness and The Yaak where Tom Oar of the hit show Mountain Man lives and does his trapping! This is my home which is right next to the spot. I have a dog, cat and chickens. Please be respectful to me and my neighbors. There is 50 amp hook up and water. Unfortunately there is no sewage hook up here but there is one available 6.3 miles from here. The lake has bass and perch in it and requires a Montana fishing license.
