Centrally located on the North Shore and surrounded by Superior National Forest - - 20 minutes from both Grand Marais and Tofte. Near snowmobile trails, Superior Hiking Trail, Lutsen town, Fika Coffee shop, grocery store, two maple syrup properties, mountain bike and fat bike trails, hiking and xc ski trails. Minutes from Caribou and Ward Lakes. Check out the new world class Jackpot MTB single-track trails!Secluded, private, and quiet camping spot on the North Shore. Set on 5 acres in the woods above Lake Superior. No tolerance for parties or noise. We have neighbors, and this is the North woods. Get rest for your daytime activities. Look at the stars! Listen to the sounds of silence. International Dark Sky Sanctuary. Price includes wood for the wood-burning sauna and fire ring.

Private Lutsen Forest Camp

We had a great time camping here. Came with firewood and a great fireplace. Also a very cool sauna although we did not use it. Great location close to a lot of great hiking and sites to see. Would definitely recommend!

Great stay! Patrick was very responsive and helpful. Site is very nice, clean, and quiet. Saw the northern lights and enjoyed the awesome wood sauna. Will definitely stay again!

Private Lutsen Forest Camp

We had a great time camping on Patrick's land. Directions to the site were clear and helpful, and bathroom facilities were excellent for the location. There was plenty of space for our 3 person tent, but with a larger tent things would have gotten tight.
