We arrived to the site excited for our stay after seeing the photos of the property. When we got there we were nothing but disappointed. Grass was too long to tent on and there was no place to have a fire. We didn’t even end up staying.

Quiet and simple camping. The cleared campsites are spread out and private with some thick woods and brush. When I'm back in Boyne next year, I hope to camp here again, and for longer. Rebecca was great and responded fast when we had some trouble.
Beware, google maps in the app gave us the wrong address. It said it was 2810-2890 for some reason, you want to go to 3209. There is a wood pile in front of you as you pull in, and a small shack on the left.

Greatest Hipcamp we've ever been to! Rebecca was very communicative and helpful, and her land is beautiful. BEAUTIFUL. Rebecca even went out of her way to mow the trails and sites right before our arrival. We will stay there every chance we get. It's just five minutes from Boyne City and Lake Charlevoix, and very close to other beautiful Up North Michigan destinations. What a gem. Rebecca is the best. This is the type of property we've been looking for in a Hipcamp for a very long time.

Rebecca was super prompt at responding to our last minute request. Sites were very nice and clean. Close enough to town but far enough to feel away from it all.

Four secluded and well-kept, clean sites with fire rings. We were the only campers there on a Saturday night. Three of the sites require a short drive down a grassy, rutted path but no 4WD necessary. There was some firewood at the entrance - not sure if that was leftover or provided but nice to have. Overall a lovely camping option close to Boyne City!

What a wonderful spot. I only stayed for the weekend. It’s a beautiful meadow. Temperature was great and the breeze fantastic. I saw 2 deer while I was there. Great spot for the dog too.

It was a lovely location, and Rebecca was super helpful and communicative. The only issue we had was from noisy neighbors lighting off fireworks, and being overly boisterous in general, (pretty sure they were not campers, as Rebecca specifically stated no fireworks allowed, and they did stop lighting them off around 10pm, 100% not her fault at all). That and some louder bike traffic from the road was the only issue. Otherwise, the space was beautiful, the host was accommodating, and we would definitely camp here again.

Nice spacious campsite, well maintained, close to Petoskey! Raining hard on one of the nights but no issues with flooding. Highly recommend this campsite.

My fiance and I were looking to do some backwoods camping and this hit the spot! There's plenty of room so you don't even see the other campers on the property. We were able to use the dead wood found on the ground for our campfire and didn't have to stray more than about 100 feet from the truck to find a private area for our tent! We're both super happy and would definitely be back! It was raining and the host was quick to respond to text about using a tarp they had laying by their own camper, which they had no problem letting us use. The host is amazing and welcoming and the area is a number one spot for us and we've done quite a bit of camping.

“A perfect and secluded northern Michigan stay.”
This was my first time using Hipcamp and Rebecca was an excellent host. She was very helpful with information about the site.
Not only did we have an awesome time, but this tucked away adventure is perfect for that nighttime campfire, star gazing, and Pure Michigan experience! Will definitely stay here again!
