A quaint 70 acre family run horse/ hobby farm nestled in the hills of Northern Michigan, a retired couple that wanted to get away from the metro area after 30+ years in the factories and live year round were many call a four season paradise, Come enjoy what their retirement dream location has to offer! Learn more about this land: Beautiful parcel that overlooks Lake Charlevoix and the Northern Michigan hillsides, the parcel resides in a mowed hay field behind a horse farm, when you step outside your tent or camper you have a million dollar view of Lake Charlevoix, 5 minute walk to the historic ironton ferry and the Landing bar and grill, there is a state boat launch just over a mile away (perfect for kayaks) 15 minutes away from downtown Charlevoix, and 25 minutes from Boyne City with the ferry crossing. Perfect off grid solitude, there is a fire pit with provided wood, picnic table also a clean tidy outhouse on the property and fresh water can be provided in 7 gallon containers upon request Pet are allowed but please respect the property owners request and keep them within the camping sites boundaries *also host has a camper listed on rvshare and outdoorsy that can be arranged to be rented on the property as well for the full accommodation experience, just show up and camp! Lake Charlevoix vacation overlook
Michigan Beauty at it’s best!
The pictures do not do this campsite justice. This is easily in my top 3 for most beautiful sites I’ve been on in our 14 years of camping. You are by yourself, no one is near you for approx. a mile. The sunset at the back of the property is a pretty as the view of the lake toward the front. The stars are bright with limited light pollution. We saw 3 falling stars and the space station during our visit. You are at the top of a hill. You have a well manicured grass road leading you to the top of the hill. I have a 33ft 7100 pound travel trailer. I engaged 4WD just in case, but had zero issues getting up the hill.

Great property! Incredible views, peaceful, and lots to do around the place. Charlevoix Petoskey Harbor Springs. The landing is a great spot three minutes away. Thanks, Chuck. We will be back.

Great site, overlooking (from a distance) Lake Charlevoix. Private, beautiful, lots of space. Outhouse was clean. You do have a pretty steep hill to climb, FYI if you're bringing an RV of any type.

Amazing Privacy and View
Chuck is always an amazing host. He gives clear instructions, the bathroom is always tidy, and he provides more than enough firewood. The view from this land is absolutely spectacular, and it offers more than enough space and privacy for myself, and my two dogs to spend time without worrying about anyone around us. Even though the property is very private, and you can feel secluded, the town of Charlevoix is just a short drive away and offers anything else that you may want to experience when it comes to restaurants and shops. I have stayed with Chuck a few times, and I am always excited to book his place for my next trip.

Stunning view!
Chuck's land is gorgeous and so well cared for. The view of Lake Charlevoix is one of a kind. We will definitely camp here again!
