Gray Rock Cove is a beautiful 9.46 acre slice of old natural Florida. There’s room to stretch out and plenty of wildlife to see (plus some Barn Kitties who are employed as rodent control). Mostly grassy land with some old growth oaks and saw palmettos, while the back/North third of the property is a beautiful undisturbed Florida Wetlands with a small floating dock to enjoy some of the pristine scenery from.
RV hookups (50a Power w/ 30a adapter, water, sewer) along a gravel RV pad, while there's also plenty of room for tent camping instead.
A short drive to Mt. Dora, Eustis, Ocala, and The Villages. Easy access from the main road to reach the site. There's a 2-lane paved county road along the front of the property, with a dense greenery barrier blocking view of the road from most everywhere on the land.
There is a small bathroom building with toilet, sink, and shower. No standard outlet (110v) power access other than a few outlets in the bathroom and utility room (available for phone charging if needed, but nothing high-amperage). We do have numerous water spigots sprinkled throughout the property (unfiltered well water). There's a spot for a campfire near the bathroom building and the campsite. There will be a patio table set and chairs, two plastic Adirondack Chairs near the water along with an old Jon Boat with paddles you're welcome to take out to explore the water with. It's all pretty shallow, mucky and plant filled like you'd expect a wetlands to be, but beautiful and peaceful nonetheless.Hidden Cove Campsite is a peaceful setting with ample shade trees around, a gravel parking lot entry, and a gravel vehicle/RV pad, plus plenty of flat grassy areas for vehicle and tent camping. As a bonus, it has a full bathroom with toilet, sink, and shower!
If you don't have an RV, the RV parking can be used for vehicle parking as well. The campsite is 'designated' to a general area on the property with an RV parking pad and hookups, patio table, fire pit, and bathroom building....but if tent/vehicle camping instead of an RV, there are multiple options for where to physically place a tent or vehicle within this general area of the campsite.
There is a 50amp RV electrical hookup (50a-to-30a adapter provided), water, and sewer available (4" threaded clean-out). Please bring adapters to hook your equipment up to these connections. There are a few outlets in the bathroom and utility room, ok to use for phone charger or low draw devices (phone charging, compact refrigerator etc), but not set up to run higher draw devices (large refrigerators, ACs, etc) unless pulling from the RV 50a outlet or 30a adapter.
Bathroom building, floating dock, campfire spot, and gravel area with patio table set all nearby.
We are occasionally on-site during daytime hours, but only in our work buildings near the entrance that shares gravel parking with the RV back-in space. If we stop by, it will only be to access our building during the daytime, if at all, while letting you enjoy the peace and quiet of the property day and night.
Note on a few sounds you may hear: There is a wedding venue on a neighbor's land to the North of our property, accessed down the gravel road next to our property. It is not visible from anywhere on our property due to densely wooded wetlands between the two properties. However, they do occasionally have a band or music for these events, primarily on Weekends. This music can sometimes be heard across the pond. It's far enough away that it isn't ever obnoxiously loud, and they host daytime events that wrap up by 8-9pm at the. Another neighbor has some cattle which can also provide an unexpected 'moo' through the trees. They are not free range, just vocal at times!
