Embrace the serenity of riverside relaxation, with opportunities to fish, finish a rafting trip and pull out with our private boat ramp, explore local scenic hiking trails that immerse you in Colorado’s natural beauty. Property boasts exceptional bird watching, with optimal views of a heron and egret rookery on a private island from rocking chairs. As twilight falls, indulge in the stillness of the evening beneath a breathtaking canopy of stars. Our property offers an idyllic escape for nature lovers, providing peace and seclusion while remaining close to renowned attractions like Rifle Falls (17 miles), Maroon Bells (44 miles), and Hanging Lake (23 miles). For your safety, please use caution at all times. The property contains uneven ground, slippery rocks, steep cliff sides, cacti, wild animals and plants, and insects. Watch your step, stay within designated areas and always be aware of your surroundings to ensure a safe and enjoyable visit. We are just 16 miles from Glenwood Springs ,a quaint mountain town with rich western history. Home to the world’s largest natural hot springs pool, Iron Mountain Hot Springs, Hotel Colorado, Doc Holidays grave, Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park, world renowned white water rafting, biking paths through Glenwood Cany, Hanging Lake, and wonderful local shops, resturants and weekly summer farmers markets and free music.
