The 14er Base Camp is nestled on 5 acres of aspen and pine and is the ideal base camp as you can explore the acreage, climb any of 6 14ers nearby, sit by the stream, in the hot tub or watch the meteors from the deck. This is REAL Colorado backcountry at high altitude(10,600 ft) with wildlife(bears, moose, mountain lions, elk, deer, fox, eagles, hummingbirds, and even nearby ranch owner's dogs frequenting the property) This is upgraded glamping that includes electricity(almost always), WiFI(almost always), cabin, hot tub, stream, steam room and 1BR/1BA with loft area to sleep 4 with large deck and acres to explore along the stream. Full kitchen minus a dishwasher and microwave. Sorry, no condos nearby or parking garages or Tshirt shops. No TV!!! Trash and Food must be kept ONLY in cabin or "bear proof" trash can and in SEALED trash bags and never in car. We remove trash between guest Lot's of serenity, peace, aspen whistling in the breeze, native alpine flowers. Fishing, mountain biking, climbing, hiking, rafting, mountain festivals all close by. Easy drive to Breck, Keystone, ABasin, Copper, and even Monarch. Large deck with hot tub, privacy, horseshoes, cornhole, ski chair swing, hammock, fireplace and views. No fires per county regulations. 1 Bedroom and 1 Bath with Loft area that has Queen Bed. Trash removed after each guest! Walk to Alma with highest saloon and gym in North America! Drive 20 min to Breck or jump on the free shuttle in Alma and take the Summit Stage to Breck or Keystone. Perfect base camp to climb Bross, Democrat, Lincoln, Cameron, Sherman or Quandary. Hiking, snowshoeing, ice climbing at Lincoln Falls, fat tire biking and gold medal fishing a 5 min walk to the South Platte River! We are located at 10,600 ft and this is rugged, backcountry Colorado! Wildlife is abundant and there will be no parking garages, fences, gates, TShirt shops, or concierge:). Consider this glamping with a roof over you. We don’t have TVs or dishwasher or wifi or granite countertops but if you enjoy Colorado and nature and serenity then we have all you need. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this property! It was the perfect spot for a getaway with my pups. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and immaculately maintained, and the cabin itself is both charming and full of fun activities. We were lucky enough to have plenty of hummingbird visitors during our stay, and even had a massive bull moose stop by on our last night. T was an incredible host and made sure we had everything we needed. This will definitely be our go-to place to stay whenever we’re in the area!

This place was great! Humans and animals loved it. One side of the house is a little closer to the neighbor than expected, so dogs definitely had to be on leash since they had a semi free roaming dog as well. But the other side of the house felt secluded and had some great hanging spots. The little creek and walkways around the property were adorable. Water was clear as could be. Kitchen had everything needed, beds were super comfy, and lots of things to do nearby! Love the area overall! Thanks for being super communicative Anthony and keeping the place clean and in good working order! Would def recommend staying here!

We loved the cabin was really nice and big we loved the space was a great nature spot to help unplug from the world and the problems of it. We traveled with are 2 dogs who love have a lot of zoomy energy and they were so good and the space is very open in lay out they didn't have problems playing inside or out without fear of them breaking anything and are one is a big lab we had to look around because some places not letting big dogs stay but this cabin gave us everything we needed home away from home we loved cooking in this kitchen we had a overall blast. The host was so helpful with all are little hiccups we had and was overall so helpful with everything. I definitely am going to recommend this place to anyone that ask my husband and I had so much fun we were so sad when we had to leave.

I don’t even know where to start - we had such a lovely stay it was hard to leave! We definitely hope to come back one day! The cleanliness was top-touch and the home felt so cozy! The location was a dream too! About 20 mins from Breck, tons of hiking and incredible fishing spots less than 10 mins away! We spent so much time just exploring the property its-self and enjoying all the activities there. We really enjoyed soaking in the hot tub while watching the humming birds and listening to the rustle of the leaves. The tire swing was a blast and it was very relaxing to sit/hammock hang along the steam that stretches across the property. There were so many outdoor games to entertain us as well gear we could borrow. Our host really thought of everything when it came to amenities, right down to marshmallow roasting sticks and mosquito protection to having everything we needed to cook in the kitchen (pots/pans/plates ect) This spot was a secluded dream surrounded by aspens, activities and the sound of a steam! It offered all the relaxation mixed with adventure!
