For a tent, van, or truck camper site, see our other Dave W’s listings. Gravel parking is available any time of year, and grass parking as weather and space permits. The land is flat, but you may prefer to provide some leveling for an RV or a camper. Minimal shade. 30 amp service and well water hook up available. Depending on where you park, a 25 foot cord may suffice. If parking further away is possible and wanted, bring your 50 foot cord. This is parking at an almost 20 acre rural property that serves as the host to a not for profit children’s physical therapy program that utilizes horses and ponies in sessions with a licensed physical therapist. There is a hayfield to hike or bike around, a small nature trail, country roads to walk or bike, horses, chickens, a seasonal produce and cutting garden. Farm eggs, and fresh baked goods and fire wood are available as extras and may be paid for as part of your Hipcamp checkout process or purchased on site with cash If you request to book, and we agree to host you, it is on the understanding that you have read and accept the property and amenities as described, have read and agree to the Rules and Safety standards as stated, and you understand and agree to the offered accommodations as described. Car Camper Site is specifically for guests who do not need electricity or water and want a place to park and sleep in their vehicle. No trailers. Pets are allowed on a leash and they may only be staked outside your vehicle if you are present and they do not bark and are not a danger to other people.

Bring your tent, camper, van, or cargo trailer conversion or truck camper. We have fire rings with cooking grates to share and one large bonfire pit. When it is rainy it is possible to park vehicles in the gravel parking lot which is just steps away. See our other listing for Dave’s RV Spot. No pets allowed in tents. Good accommodations and amenities provided. I was in late and out early. All the spots are right next to each other and close to the main house so if privacy is a priority this may not be for you. Otherwise, spot is clean and well kept!

Beautiful farm with horses and great sky views at night. Dave is very nice and attentive if you need anything. The bathroom is an extremely clean Porto Pottie with handwashing station and sanitizer. Definitely would stay again!

We had a great stay at Havendell Farm. The host, Dave, was friendly and helpful. He was available if we needed anything, otherwise left us to enjoy his property undisturbed. The toilet, a well kept part a-potty, was clean and convenient, with hand wash station nearby.

Safe stop for dogs and humans ☺️

Great place to stop in for some good sleep. We’re traveling for 2 weeks so we have a lot of belongings we’re hauling around with us. Because of that, safety and feeling secure is very important to us and this place was perfect. WAY safer than a rest area but just as easy to stop and go. Dave was friendly and made us feel welcome- showed us where to park and made sure we were all good. *Quiet & Peaceful* *Our dogs enjoyed some good grass time* *Porta potty was the cleanest I’ve seen* *We’re traveling in a Dodge Truck with a topper*

Dave has such a beautiful property! The weeping willows and horses add to the calmness of the countryside. Dave greeted me as I arrived and made sure I had everything I needed. Bonus- there's a terrific bike trail just 2.5 miles from his place that is easy to ride to the trailhead. Wear safety gear and lights because you have to ride on the roads to get there, but they aren't very busy.

Ended up not going to the farm after realizing that the access was limited due to willows over the entrance lane. My class A is 13.4 ft high and although the site is listed for up to 45 ft units the height coming with the bigger rig wasn't taken into account.

We had a great stay at Havendell Farm! We got in just as the sun was setting and they had firewood ready to go for us. The sky was clear so we could see a lot of stars. Lovely sunrise over the trees and the kids had a wonderful time visiting with the horses! We got the Apple Crisp and Blueberry Cobbler and they were a great breakfast. Thank you!!

This is the second time I have stayed at Havendell when I have traveled to Indianapolis and would recommend this place to everyone. Each time has been great and quiet. I've been able to pull in late after a concert and get a good night's rest before hitting the road.

Wonderful HipCamp - Great Hosts 🤩

We were in town for a wedding and thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Dave and Tara’s peaceful property. We loved the wide open space with horses and pastures. Dave was very hospitable, flexible, and accommodating. We communicated throughout the weekend and Dave was quick to respond to every question. We stayed in the 30 amp site situated next to 2 tent sites which were occupied as well. Our “neighbors” were friendly and respectful. We especially appreciated access to the port-a- potty. It was super clean (emptied weekly), had toilet paper, and sat alongside a hand washing station. Tara provides a nice collection of handmade soaps, loofas, soap dishes, decorative pillows, and goodies for sale in the self-service “store” (i.e., adorable vintage camper). All in all, another great HipCamp experience. 🙌

This was a beautiful and quiet camp complete with horses, hay fields, and a little forest path. Nice and clean porta-potty with hand wash ststion. Very convenient to Indianapolis. Don't pass up the chance to get a cobbler! The blueberry cobbler was anazing!

Nice, quiet, safe place to s

We stayed at Dave's for the 3rd time this past week. We stayed 4 nights as we were in the area for Grandkids sporting events. Tara met us with a smile again and welcomed us back. Again we enjoyed our stay. The country setting is quiet and we always feel safe there. The fall colors were just starting to show in the tree line that is at the back of the property. There is something about seeing horses grazing out in the pasture that makes you smile. We will for sure be back to stay with Dave and Tara. Thank you again for providing us with a nice, quiet, safe place to stay.

Great place to stay!

We stayed for the second time at Dave's place. Tara, Dave's wife, met us with a smile and a great welcome. The farm is inviting and quiet and safe. Our camper door again faced the beautiful wide open field and the tree line was just getting a small sign of color that fall is coming. Havendale is a great place to stay and we will be back again. Traveling cross country on a Yamaha T7 and tenting at Dave’s was needed after a long day of riding. Dave was an excellent host. Communication was clear and concise. Layout and accommodation was as described. Great experience!

Dave and Tara have a great property that they share with others. I've used it several times on my trips when I travel from NC to WI as it is a halfway point that I know I can stop and be safe. They will do EVERYTHING they can to be sure you have an enjoyable stay.

I loved staying here so much!! Money is tight at the moment, this saved me from staying somewhere sketchy. Felt extremely safe as a single woman. There were two other campers on site but still felt private and quieter. I was the last one in for the night, hopefully I didn’t disturb them either. Car camped with windows down, used vanilla extract all over my body and didn’t see a single mosquito all night. Fell asleep at 10:15, woke up once when some rain sprinkled in through the windows, fell back asleep and stayed that way until 8:15. Definitely check out the cute little camper where they sell handmade soaps, farm jams, eggs, and pre-ordered baked goods!
