Private campsite, love the creek!
Tent · Group trip
We had a great time at this campsite! The creek was perfect to cool off in and the shaded grove was great to help stay cool, too. We did get some rain but again the grove helped to keep things from getting too wet. We did encounter a lot of spiders and grasshoppers but after the first night, that lessened. A few neighbors must have louder cars/Razors but it was quiet by 11pm. The potable water is across the road, Shannon was very helpful in providing access. The campsite is private which we really enjoyed and overall had a good experience!

Good camping
Tent
The primitive campsite offers lots of shade in multiple areas with a fairly flat grounds for tent setups. Creek is cold and is refreshing for the hotter days of summer. Stayed for just the weekend, but the weather and site conditions were great enough to where I would stay longer next time. Cell service is practically zero, so be sure to prepare accordingly. Happy camping!

Family Haven
With pets
The set up was perfect for a family! Especially with a young child. We brought our 1 yr old and he had the best time running around the open field, and there are parts of the river he could stand in, just with his feet getting wet so he was still stable. The AC in the yurt was a life saver, and big enough that we were all - 2 adults, 1 non stop toddler, and 2 large dogs - able to enjoy our rainy evening comfortably. The extra touches of cooking supplies was so sweet too. Luckily I was prepared to not have anything, but we forgot our tongs and it was so nice having a set nearby. The communication was also great! When we got there, the host wasn't home but her aunt came and got us set up. She also came to let us know when the campers at the primitive site weren't coming in, and also that there was no one lined up behind us in the yurt so we could take our time leaving (which was perfect since it rained for our previous breakfast). Definitely want to come back!
