This is our second stay at lakeside. You will be hard pressed to find a better, private, full hook up property that is right on the lake. Four days of rest , relaxation and cool breezes coming from the expansive lake.

We loved camping on Laura’s land. So peaceful and relaxing. She showed us where to back in and hookup. After that, we felt like we had the place to ourselves. It was amazing! Beautiful view of the lake. We were able to view 2 rocket launches on the site - amazing views! There was a deer family that visited us every day. We hope to go back very soon!

A Florida lakeside dream!!

What a dream this site was!! I took a leap of faith and drove from NY to stay in this site and it was such an amazing experience. Perfectly located close to new Smyrna Beach, Daytona and many attractions in the area. There is a boat launch and a public park within walking distance that you can enjoy, like my family and I did. Laura was a great host, super friendly and very responsive if you have any questions. The site was very private and had plentiful space. A personal dock with kayaks ready for you to use. We will be back again and again and again!

Beautiful lakeside site, pretty secluded with private dock and kayaks available. Sunrises were beautiful. Such a wonderful, peaceful place. Laura, our host, was wonderful and kind. Will definitely be back.

We loved the privacy, and being right on the lake, with great a view! Loved being able to kayak - which we took advantage of. Enjoyed having a fire in the provided fire pit. Easy level site to pull into although we would suggest bringing a long sewer hose as the dumping receptacle is not right at the electric and water pedastal. We would highly recommend this location, and we will go back again for a longer period of time.

Serene, peaceful, private , simply beautiful. I would highly recommend visiting this particular Hipcamp 20 minutes from new Smyrna dog Beach. My girls had a blast. It was peaceful private absolutely gorgeous view of the lake thank you thank you thank you. I enjoyed your place tremendously.

Laura's property is truly special. The site is private with magnificent views of the lake. It was quiet, peaceful, and well situated between most of the sights a person will want to visit in East Central Florida. We will definitely come again.

This site by far is the best you will find in Central Florida or the surrounding areas. Very clean, plenty of privacy, and entire lake front! We had an amazing time relaxing and enjoying the land. We will definitely be back!

Best spot to camp, the only issue I had was red ants which probably had something to do with the wet land from the lake after the hurricane. Other than that it was peaceful and quiet. The owners were nice enough to help us park our rv in the dark. Highly recommend

Great spot. You will have entire lake shore and nature to yourself. Water was used for swimming, fishing and kayaking. Would highly recommend it.

Pure bliss!

Laura’s lakeside rv site was such a treat! The site is gorgeous, peaceful, private and right on the water. We loved watching all the deer visit the property and sitting by the fire at night. Laura was a perfect host. She was friendly and quick to respond. We really enjoyed Lake Ashby Park and biking at Deep Creek Preserve and on the spring to spring trail. What a great trip. We can’t wait to return!

Great site, we really enjoyed the big area site offered and the lakeview, there is a park less than 5 minutes drive where we visit to walk the dogs, really convenient spot for us because it's located between Daytona Beach and Orlando which we were visiting.

Beautiful property, Laura and her husband are fantastic hosts, when we arrived they help us park our travel trailer in a very easy way, this is a private, save and quiet spot, we love it!!! We really recommend this place!!

Peaceful spot on the lake

The site was lovely and exactly as described. We faced our trailer toward the lake to enjoy the view. We had full hookups, a level site, and mostly shaded by beautiful trees. Laura was responsive to our messages when we arrived, dropped off a list of places to check out in town, and helped us when our truck died. Other than that, we never saw anyone at our site. NSB was a short drive and had great beaches, restaurants, and breweries (all dog-friendly, too!). It was perfect and we’ll definitely stay again if we’re in the area!
(If you have car issues in the area, call Al’s Affordable Auto & Transmission - 386-500-2418 - They came out to us on a Sunday and fixed some stupid sensor in the truck on site)

WOW! What a beautiful place Laura and her family have. The lake view site was perfection. So peaceful. It was so relaxing. We enjoyed watching the boats and watercraft’s on the lake. We would definitely come back.
