Located near Lake Tejas or Steinhagen Reservoir travel 2.9 acres into a wooded hunting ground and enjoy a weekend of natures beauty. When you’re done setting up camp, hike the forest trails enjoy some vollyball with your friends and picnic under the shade of the trees. Our sites does have water access, an outhouse with a flushing toilet. Access to a rec area with volley ball. We also rent tents upon request. We have a 10 person tent for $50 a large 4-5 person tent with screened in area for $30. We offer a move in the woods package as well. A projector/screen setup and you bring a movie or rent one from us for $1 per title.Travel 2.9 miles into a wooded hunting ground and enjoy a weekend of nature's beauty. Acceptable

Davey the host was gracious and very friendly. Currently the site is a work in progress. There are several things to compliment; the deck platform, fire pit & flushing toilet were all great. The surroundings were less than stellar as it is in progress. A lot of clearing debris and the road to the site is rough. We have a 4x4 so it wasn’t a problem for us but a sedan or two wheel drive may have problems particularly after rainy days. We did enjoy our stay but the cost seems a bit high for the current state of the grounds.

I enjoyed camping at this site. The restroom, access to water, and electric was a nice bonus. But, the sites for tents has a lot of roots and debris to clean before placing the tent. Overall, it was a peaceful stay and if you value amenities more than trails 100% recommend.

Quiet and relaxing

Had a great time, the owner was incredibly kind. The site was well taken care of and the bathroom amenities were very nice!
