Stockyard Creek by Nanango

3 sites · RVs, Tents100 acres · Wyalla, QLD
Located on 100 acres of serene land, our campsite at Stockyard Creek is a nature lover's paradise. The seasonal creek, which crosses the Burnet Highway, is dotted with several waterholes and surrounded by several cleared lawn campsites. Visitors are encouraged to take a leisurely bushwalk and follow the creek, where they may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of large kangaroos and deer. Horses are kept on the property, and for those who prefer to stay on the ground, the animals are kept separate from the camp sites. Our campsite is situated in the picturesque town of Wyalla, which is located between Nanango and Goomeri, with Kingaroy to the west. Please note that during heavy rainfall, the creek may overflow, so visitors should be aware of the weather conditions. In addition to the natural beauty of the area, we also provide portable toilet facilities for our guests. Our property is home to 20 horses, and horse riding activities will be available soon, adding to the already plentiful list of outdoor activities that our campsite has to offer.

Hope Valley

43 sites · Lodging, RVs, Tents1375 acres · Amamoor Creek, QLD
4WD Recommended - dirt/gravel road and two creek crossings (through the creek bed) to get here. We have a whole beautiful valley with crystal clear spring-fed creeks, patches of rain forest and hillsides covered in grass-trees backing onto Wrattens State Forest. There's 1,375 acres of land - the boundaries of our property are the ridges of the mountains that encircle us, and many rare species abound here. This is a dog and horse friendly property but no pets allowed in the cabin. There is paralysis tick in this region - so we'd recommend treating any animal before you come and frequent checks while you're here. No mobile phone coverage at the cabin, but there is a hill you can drive (or walk) up on the property to get phone signal if needed and we have a landline phone in our house which can be used in emergencies.

Hilltop Country Camping

12 sites · RVs, Tents175 acres · Crows Nest, QLD
We have several peaceful campsites available on our 175-acre property - some with beautiful escarpment views, and some amongst the peaceful surrounds of the bush. We are 10km from the town of Crows Nest on the Great Dividing Range. 50 minutes from Toowoomba and 2 hours from Brisbane. The hill on the property (Flat Top) is one of the highest points in the area at 660m altitude. From the hilltop, you can enjoy 360-degree views of the surrounding area, with views across the Esk Valley towards the Sunshine Coast, sunsets over the hills surrounding Crows Nest, and even glimpses of Cressbrook Dam. There are 2 separate campsites on the hilltop, one at each end. We also have 3 secluded bush campsites down in the paddocks, these are private and peaceful with no other campers within sight. They are all situated to be able to enjoy the sunset. We feel very spoilt living here in this beautiful place and would love for others to share it. It is extremely quiet and peaceful, yet less than a 15-minute drive to Crows Nest. There is plenty to explore in the area, including: 🏞 Crows Nest Falls National Park (good for a swim) 🐃 Bullocky's Rest and creekside walk in Crows Nest (dog friendly) 🌳 Ravensbourne National Park (rainforest) 🏚 Crows Nest Museum 🎣 Cressbrook and Perseverance Dams 🚂 Muntapa Railway Tunnel towards Cooyar ☕️ French patisserie and other cafes in Crows Nest. 🛍 Antique and boutique shops 📚 Second-hand book store 👩‍🌾 Also markets in Crows Nest on the first Sunday of each month. Peach Creek Retreat

6 sites · RVs, Tents6 acres · South Nanango, QLD
If you are looking to get away, put your feet up, switch off and recharge, then this is your perfect spot to enjoy the serenity of farm life with the added mountain views. We are setting things up as we speak and at the moment we have potable bore water, electricity connection, kitchen table and bench outdoor setting, kitchen water tank with fire pit/BBQ, enclosed shelter and starlink WiFi. We are planning on offering activities that will include yoga and meditation at a later stage. There is an old shed with a rustic firepit, which guests can use during their stay. Firewood is available at additional cost, otherwise there's plenty of free kindling and wood around the place. We have a basic bucket toilet at the moment, until we build a new one. We have tried different camp shower configurations to no avail, so currently we use the public showers in Nanango. Will be building a proper one at a later stage. Electricity pole is available to campers behind the shed in the top right corner of the property, when facing the main road. If you need continuous power for your caravan, please book a powered site. Our bore has a solar pump that can be used to fill up water tanks etc, please enquire about how to use this to fill up your containers or caravans. Otherwise there is a tap on the camp kitchen tank that provides potable water for cooking, washing, pets etc. Coffee is available upon request, at additional cost. Other cooking implements and tools can also be provided at request. Dogs are welcome, just please be mindful of our free ranging chickens, which are generally located at the top of the farm, near the big new shed. Please ensure that you are mindful of our neighbours, no loud noises between 9pm and 7am and kindly clean up after yourselves and take your rubbish with you, as we don't have garbage collection at the property. Nanango has a lovely vibe. It's Queensland's oldest and friendliest town. There are great playgrounds, swimming pool and cart racing in town, which is only about 10 minutes away from the farm. Kingaroy is about half an hour away. There is a great off roading spot in the forest that is literally up the road from us. According to previous campers it's perfect for beginners. For any other questions, please feel free to contact me. And don't forget to enjoy your stay. :-) it is a lovely spot, with amazing views and DinDin Forest across the road. Our neighbours have horses and sheep too that are curious and friendly. Weekly and monthly rates are available, please contact me to discuss your requirements, thank you.
