HIDING IN THE MIDDLE OF EVERYWHERE! Pure. Unadulterated. WILD. 104 very private acres, securely sandwiched between a National Park Nature Reserve and State Forest. On a dead end road. No agriculture or farms upstream, only one other like-minded property owner. Secluded, but hiding smack bang in the middle of everywhere! From vertiginous sandstone cliffs on which epipetrics cling tight, right through to palm-filled rainforests, and with two quite different creek systems (including a monster waterfall), you'll be spoiled for things to do and places to explore - without even leaving the property! HISTORY This land is Gumbaynggirr land. Please be particularly mindful of our First Nation's long presence on this land. In the 1800's, white men came seeking Red Cedar, closely followed by settlers having a go at dairying; though logging has remained this area's mainstay. This special property, despite last being selectively logged about 50 years ago, hosts many huge old-growth trees remaining steadfast for your discovery and wonder. And many more are continuing to grow out too. About 35 years ago about nine of this property's eastern-most 104 acres became part of a far larger nashi pear orchard which filled much of the flats of this top end of the valley that you see today. Ultimately they failed to set good commercial fruit, and the rootstocks took over. You can see remnant rows of these trees just south of the property, from along the road. (Beware though - they have spikes that could puncture Caterpillar tracks!) MORE RECENTLY extensive lantana control efforts have been undertaken as we now move into revegetating with native species and implementing a permaculture plan. Today the property is registered with Land For Wildlife and hosts a very wide mix of native vegetation communities. ACTIVITIES Bird watch. Climb. Abseil. Photograph wildflowers. Paint. Swim. Campers must ensure they supervise their children at all times. This farm operates a cut flower business with over 10,000 rose bushes and has recently diversified with a large number of Australian wildflowers. The business hours are typically 6am-4pm but once or twice a week the shed does need to be accessed earlier than this so please do not park on the gravel area in front of the double roller doors. There are no amenities so campers need to be fully self-sufficient with own camping toilet and leave no trace. The nearest dump point is in Coffs Harbour. PLEASE NOTE: The property lies on river frontage and is subject to flooding in heavy rain. Please check in with us 3 days prior to arrival to confirm conditions. In the case of flooding, a full refund will be issued, or an alternate campsite on higher ground may be available. The photos display pristine blue waters, which is what is so magical about this place. However after heavy rain, the water colour can change in appearance. Campfires are permitted in the designated fire ring, when local restrictions are not in place. FIREWOOD is available to purchase. BBQ LAMB packages are also available to purchase. This is a 45 acre farm located approx 50 km north of Coffs Harbour and 30km south of Grafton and is just 500 meters from the Pacific Highway at Halfway Creek. The property is easily accessed by 2WD and is suitable for caravans and small to medium motor homes. Take a right turn as soon as you drive through the cream concrete entrance gates and follow the road down to the large cream shed. Here you will find manicured park-like gardens with a large dam - big enough to kayak on! There are numerous shady trees along the dam edges and you can also relax on the pontoon which overlooks the water. **Please note that the dam area is not fenced and may not suit campers with children. Campers must ensure they supervise their children at all times. This farm operates a cut flower business with over 10,000 rose bushes and has recently diversified with a large number of Australian wildflowers. The business hours are typically 6am-4pm but once or twice a week the shed does need to be accessed earlier than this so please do not park on the gravel area in front of the double roller doors. There are no amenities so campers need to be fully self-sufficient with own camping toilet and leave no trace. Please note - unless otherwise approved by host , we allow only 1 caravan or camper or tent or motorhome per site. Dog friendly. Fires are permitted if restrictions are not in place AND MUST be contained in our fire pit , a brazier or portable fire pit. Please do not light fires directly on the ground/grass. Richard's farm is a massive piece of land and we were allowed to pick any spot. Richard is a gracious host who proved all the necessities for the travelers - fresh water and power. There is plenty of wood on site and Richard can lend you an axe if you feel up to it. Bring some carrots and apples to feed the neighbours horses - kids will love it. The site itself is reasonably leveled and we had no issues in parking our motorhome. Overall our stay was fun and enjoyable.

Great spot by the river, we took our dogs on a kayak down the river and they loved it 😁Cleanest composting toilet I've ever seen! Arne gave us plenty of time to settle in after our arrival time before coming down for a quick check-in and home-grown spinach delivery. The spot is close to Battery falls, and nested in beautiful forest which he gave us a brief history of. It felt secluded enough, but we had a good chat with some locals by the river who'd spotted a platypus not 20m from the road crossing! The fireflies surrounding the camp were pretty magical too. Would recommend 🌞

Booked a powered site and directions to the grounds were adequate. Great grassy areas and level ground for our van. Toilet, shower and laundry facilities were very good and clean. Great hot showers. Bug spray a definite as HUGE horseflies/marchflies. Amazing fire flies in the bushes at night which moved out over the camp ground when things were settled. Great covered picnic table areas and kids playground. Very limited to no phone service- wifi on the corner or picnic area but still limited. 5minutes drive towards Coffs you could get good coverage if you really need it but it was great to escape from all that. Only 1 other couple there for our 3 night stay so very peaceful.

What an amazing spot very private and one with nature. Make sure you turn right before you start heading up the hill into the banana farm as Google Maps will take you. This is not the right way. There was a couple baby spiders as expected but the space was perfect and we even had a beautiful peacock come to visit us!!! (We call him Freddy)

A stunning spot with plenty of space and well maintained grounds. The toilets are new and kept in great condition. The forest behind the campsite is worth the visit on its own, perfect for walking the dogs and even has a mountain bike trail. Highly recommended, especially for the price. The back side of the campsite had has amazing views.
