Welcome to Halfway Creek Acres, a small hobby farm located between Grafton and Woolgoolga. With only one campsite available, you’ll have this entire campsite to yourself. The secluded campsite is easily accessible by 2wd and is suitable for caravans and motorhomes. Perfect for a quick overnight stay, or setup base camp and explore the area with plenty of POI’s close by including Station Creek and Pebbly Beach, Minnie Waters, Wooli, Sherwood Nature Reserve and many more. Campfires are permitted when restrictions aren’t in place, with plenty of firewood to collect from the property. Campers will need to be fully self-sufficient as there are no onsite amenities. There is a service station just down the road which has toilets. Pet friendly, as long as they don’t chase the locals 🐄The camp site is a large grassy area surrounded by gums and other beautiful tree’s. The area is mostly flat and has plenty of space to turn larger vehicles around. There are no bathroom amenities here, guests will need to be self contained, take waste with them and leave no trace.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Hilltop Paddock at Halfway Creek Acres. The paddock was completely private and all to ourselves, which was perfect for us travelling with our dogs. Being fully fenced meant we could relax and let the dogs enjoy themselves without having to worry. The property itself is beautiful and peaceful, with plenty of open space to enjoy the sunshine and lots of trees if you’re after some shade. The paddock is nice and level, so there are plenty of great spots to choose from depending on how you want to set up. And one of the highlights was having the cows come up to the fence to say hello the dogs certainly loved that. Ben was a fantastic host from start to finish. Communication was excellent and he genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. He even supplied us with plenty of firewood, which was very much appreciated. The access is really easy, and being only about 5 minutes off the Pacific Highway makes this an ideal stopover when travelling. But honestly, it’s also the perfect place to stay for a few days, slow down, enjoy the serenity and have complete privacy. Thanks so much, Ben we absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be coming back next time we’ll be staying longer Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay at this campsite. The site is private, clean and well maintained, making it a really relaxing place to unwind. It’s also very dog-friendly, which made it perfect for us and our furry friend. We’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it!

Loved the beautiful gum trees, cows (behind a fence), fire pit and provided firewood. Lovely private camp and easy to access. Close to highway, so super convenient. You can hear the traffic but it's more of a far away white noise than anything else. Recommended.

The site was as expected. It is hard to distinguish which gate as your'e not looking far enough into the paddock to see the loading ramp. Knowing that all that space is yours is comforting, we had so much space to set up and have the dogs run around. The space is well kept also.The cows were not an issue they were only there at morning and dusk and were behind a fence.

Very private place in nature.

We had a great time. The place was simple, but nicely in nature and very private. Is was very close to the road which made the place great for traveling on. The gate was a bit hard to find, but the owner responded quickly and helped us very friendly. I would stay here again when it would be one the route. I would not spend more then one night though.

We stayed for a week, a few days each side of New Years. Having a private site with lots of space is ideal for us. It means we can utilise the space and not have to worry about our dogs annoying anyone or having them couped up. We enjoyed the space, the camp fire and the trees. The proximity to Woolgoolga was great for day trips. Access is super easy and no hassles with having to be there at a certain time to meet the host for entry. Ben was friendly and welcoming and always responded to messages.

Our group of 3 caravans stayed here for one night on our trip and had plenty of room. Ben was quick to respond to our messages and had even supplied fire wood for us. Was conveniently located close to highway noise was not a problem as the trees kept the noise from highway down. Would stay again if in the area.

We really enjoyed our short stay here. The sight was tidy and well kept. Very beautiful natural surroundings and peaceful. The host, Ben, left us a good supply of pre-cut fire wood for the fire pit provided. We saw kookaburras, kangaroos and plenty of the bird life. The young cows who live there were super cute and lovely natured, watching us and we enjoyed watching them. Our daughter named all five of them. Thanks for having us!

Stayed a couple of nights. Beautiful private spot with a fire pit. Some friendly horses and cows in the next paddock were cute to watch. Has Optus and Telstra signal if you need it. Will definitely come back again 🙂
