Discover the most magical spots to pitch your tent or park your rig on your next Lake Cumberland adventure.
Creature comforts and outdoor adventures await at this massive lake
Deep in southern Kentucky, Lake Cumberland winds through the hills. The clear waters offer fishing, boating, and hiking, just an easy drive from Somerset, KY. Have a boat? The state dock makes it easy to launch.
This state park is a resort park. What does that mean for you? Lots of amenities, including a store, restaurant, and houseboat rentals.
There’s something for everyone at this popular lake. Families love pontoon-boating and fishing from the docks — for adventurers, there’s whitewater rafting. For a peaceful escape, hike the Lake Bluff Trail or ride seasonal horse trails. Local eateries even offer fun nightlife options.
The park’s campground features 123 sites. If you’re bringing an RV, more than 90 sites offer electric hookups. There are dedicated tent sites, as well. Pets are welcome, so feel free to bring your furry friends.
