McCroskey State Park

McCroskey Park, known in the longhand as Mary Minerva McCroskey State Park, was dedicated in the 1950's to the hard-scrabble women of the pioneer days. Don your bonnet and live out your Little House on the Prairie fantasies here, where horseback riding and wildflower viewing are complimented by reading a hardback by the crackling fire. The 18-mile long Skyline Drive gives a window into some of the prairie's beautiful vistas and is the perfect spot to bring your mountain bike for a spin.
